Has anyone received one of these heads yet? We need more information! Also HT needs to make a 2.0 Chrome 1/4 and 1/6 Endoskeleton!

I received the 1/4 endoskull from INSTANT TOYS a while ago and took the time to finally unbox my stored endo.

First don't buy it on eBay, I bought it directly from kroy the owner of Instant toys with us a huge terminator fan himself.
For the ebay price I got 2 EB KO 1/4 HS (clean and semi bd custom) 1/4 T2 glasses, 1/6 gargoyles glasses.
I will ask him how people should go about buying from him as It was a friend of mine in HK that got it from me but I'm in contact with kroy himself.

The sculpt is great.
The light up works with a magnet (included)
And yes you can put it on the hot toys 1/4.
There's a color difference, I dont remember if the HT Endo was always a tad on the yellow side or if it got like that throughout the years? If so what to use to bring the bluish chrome back ?
Subtle difference but it's there.

Now there's issues.
First it's super heavy, so be careful when with it as if could break Endo parts, and your toes if it falls on them lol
The hole for the neck peg is too small, I had to Dremel it to fit, and it's not a rubber joint as I thought or plastic but resin.
I over done it a bit so I've put some speaker fabric on the head ball joint for a tighter fit.

There's no neck rods or neck cables included. You can use the ones that come with the HT. If your plastic neck rod did not already snapped be careful when using them with this head as it's super heavy and would probably snap them.
The neck hoses, springs are glued on the HT head, just jiggle them slowly, to remove them.

I had customized my endo with metal rods, so I used those with this metal head.
Sturdier safer.
The head has accurate holes on both sides for the hoses/springs, I inserted the HT one (had to Dremel just a tiny bit to fit but maybe you won't need to on yours), had to cut them a bit (they are soft plastic) as they are longer and could prevent the head part to fit the jaw part (the head is two parts).
Kroy told me that he was going to do some neck rods and send them to buyers later...

The 1/4 Endo is known for its loose articulations. I had already dismantled mine a while ago (forgot how but it will come back lol) my main entry point was the back , I removed the rectangular/triangle part and had access to the screws to dismantle the chest but I think I was not able to tighten up the shoulders... Will look into it again.
But before that I will add some fabric on the chest joint as the new super heavy head make it tilt easily.

I'm going to give some feedback to Kroy :
-make it lighter if possible
-make the neck connector the right size and rubber or plastic
-provide metal neck rods.

Looks so much better with the new head!
It will be most helpful if he will be providing new buyers with all the neck rods/cable and maybe an instruction video for noobs like me. I just know I will break something if I were to do the swap myself. :)

Anyone have a method for tightening the shoulders?

About the shoulders, it's no use to screw it tightee you risk breaking it as the pin from the shoulder is quite short. Actually the problem is that the surface of both parts get smooth with time and there no grip.
I ve put a thin layer of superglue with a toothpick on the shoulder pin, let it dry then put it back in. It's tighter now.

To dismantle the chest you need to access this screw, the cover is glued so you need to pry it slowly so you don't break it.
I removed it a while ago and put a flat magnet instead of leaving the glued pins.
Easier to re access and dismantle if needed.

To separate the legs from the torso you must remove a cover , again pry It slowly.
Then you can unscrew the spine.

Now I have no idea how to open the spine or the neck parts to tighten them up.
If anybody has tips ? Thanks

Edit prying the neck slowly worked again tightening the screw won't help , added glue to create more friction.
Now the spine is another thing , I'm leaving it for now as it might not be the actual articulation that cause the chest to not stay in position because of the head I think it's the 2 pistons on both sides of the spine that are too loose. Will see...

Metal Neck rods are mandatory as the plastic one will fit but already broke easy with the original head.
I really hope he will do those.
Doubt it about the cable (use the ones from the HT skull) or video.
But I'm sure you will get help here 😉
