So now we've gone from hating the prequels and the force awakens to return of the jedi as well! So basically y'all only like two films out of a saga.

Sometimes there is a little man inside and sometimes there isn't.

Evilface I know we haven't really built much of a relationship on these boards, and you probably don't like me anymore after selling off my GI Joe collection to go full star wars (never go full star wars), but I still follow your instagram and look up to you in a lot of ways. I just want to say... I love you man.

I received mine from SS last night, but I could not get the lights to turn on. I followed the instruction and it said tab on the side of the dome... however, nothing is working. Any pointers? Yes, it is turned on, the sound works with remote control.

I had to touch further towards the back of the panel.

What's the difference between OT R2-D2, PT R2-D2 and ST R2-D2, not counting accessories.
Someone mentioned that the wires are brass or gold in the originals, and darker in the Force Awakens. But essentially, they are 95%+ the same from all I've seen. So, for me, it's displayed as the OT R2 even if that's not technically accurate.

:lecture

All genuine Star Wars fans know this to be true.

I would definitely include Rogue One in that same category, but YMMV.

Well it's that, nothing, a sub-par version from SSC or another company, or holding out hope for another HT one that may not be released for another couple of years. No brainer for me, though this will likely be the only nu-Star Wars figure I will own and display.

You just had to get that last little *** in there didn't you, lol.

If this was TFA C-3PO with the red arm then I could say with confidence that I could wait for the OT version. But in the case of R2 unless he comes with PT jets his look (with all gadgets inside) is identical throughout all eight movies (to the naked eye). I guess it might come down to cost. Purchase this or purchase OT down the road at most likely extra cost due to gadgets
