I'm very glad I ordered when I did!

I'm a little surprised it's on waitlist now. I would have thought this would be one figure they would have made an abundance for and that it would be around for a while. But perhaps you guys are right--the Corona Virus shutting down factories may have something to do with a smaller run size.

Normally, I wouldn't think there was a chance HT would do another run on R2's. But seeing that ESB Fett is back up for PO, I'd say there's a chance now.

I was gonna order it on the 5th but forgot about it, I wanted to start my flexpay on April 5th. Jumped on it right away for a flexpay to start on April 10th.

I was on the fence for a long time on this R2, but when I saw Sideshow went to waitlist, I looked around and ordered one yesterday from Popcultcha. With coupon code STIFF10 which gave me 10% off and the exchange rate for Paypal with US dollars, it totaled $239 shipped, much less than if I went with Sideshow. It's still available if anyone is interested.

Did that code expire - seems to have? Where do you get those codes and are there any other current PC codes?

They do that.

Yeah, they do. Used to annoy me, but I 'get' it. How much crap they get stuck with, I am sure they try to keep their business in the black.

Assuming Hot Toys does not do another run of this R2, he's going to only go straight up in value on the secondary market. Wish I got him now, but pretty happy with the standard one. Obviously had I known, I'd have waited.

Whatchagonna do?

I ordered earlier this week from Sideshow, when I noticed that it had moved out from the waitlist. Fortunately, it shipped out the next day and should arrive on Monday. I was initially on the fence about getting it, as I already had "2" of the Sideshow versions but I knew I would end up regretting it once it sold out everywhere.

I used HOHOHOLIDAY10

Haha - good luck, currently there is a GREATER THAN ONE HOUR wait to access the PC website (some bs Funko launch or something.):slap

I've gotten to a point where I utterly loathe this site, the only site in the world where I've repeatedly seen a queue to access it.

It's like "dude, if you're holding many hundreds of dollars of mine for PO's, DO NOT deny me access to check on that simply because you have some stupid promo going - either spend the money to increase your bandwidth or don't have the event."

Lol, what is this AOL? A virtual waiting line? I'm typing this message on the internet from my pocket sized computer that doubles as a mobile phone by the way...welcome to 2020.

I messaged them a week ago saying can they put all that POP crap in it's own place. You look at the pre-order page and you have to sift through pages before you see anything other than POP.
