I was reducing the weathering on the dome and took a bit of the blue off, it’s not really noticeable but just bothers me

i use acrylic type paints my self. i dont know if it`s a metallic you need as i dont know where the paint came off at

I made a custom Dagobah recharger/lantern for one of my HT R2s that is a bit better scaled than the HT version. Hoping to make the crate it sits on later this year.

What's the size difference between your custom and the HT version TaliBane? I definitely enjoy the deluxe version over the TFA version.

The HT lantern/recharger is about half the size it should be, so I made a correctly scaled (and a bit better detailed) version.

And yeah the DX R2 is way better than the TFA version to me (the reason I bought two ) - the TFA one has a hint of a pee-yellow color to it that always bugged me, maybe a factory mistake in the weathering spray.

The DX has a nice crisp white, the colors a near-perfect combo - the metal/silver, white and blue are all close to spot-on. It really feels like R2 jumped off the screen more so than any other R2 in any scale.
