The Iron Man Mk 4 had a simultaneous release too from what I can tell. Certainly not the 4 week time difference like usual. Deadpool 2 should be shipping this week also and was just released like Friday in HK. So it's not just Star Wars.

I believe its definitely a way to keep cancellations based on the usual crappy first pics down....

Also to get those really inpatient buyer who pay extra to get first dibs from HK

What Ssc should do is have early release premium.

Charge another 60 bucks to be first to get it, plus “extra” customer service with any issues......

It's not a totally bad idea. Maybe a yearly membership fee instead of a per figure basis. I'm kind of surprised they don't do this already.

Yeah, I wouldnt be a fan of that. Knowing I'm paying extra money to have the same exact product that everyone else will have a few weeks later would in no way drive me to this "paid privledge" of having it first. So my benefit is that I can post it on Facebook a few days/weeks before everyone else?

The extra customer service idea as well doesn't make sense, as I'd like to hope anyone who has an issue with a figure would have it taken care of. One should not have to spend extra money for "better service" after dropping $260 on a figure.

As always...just my own opinion on the idea.

Well it was said as a joke. But honestly people do this every release by ordering from HK.

SSC is already trying to stop that practice.

I paid a lot less from KGHobby (US$281) from HK than from SSC (US$314).

And KGHobby marks down the value for customs, SSC doesn't.

Totally! For collectors not in the States, SSC is usually more expensive and ships slower than HK based sellers.
