Seems like another idealized rendition which seems to be a frequent problem with Hot Toys Star Wars figures. Although I think their Tony Stark headsculpt looks just like Robert Downey Jr. (I don't have it, just remarking on high quality pics I've seen, maybe I'm wrong).

To be fair, each one looked okay at the time(Except the Avengers one, lol), and they just keep getting better as HT goes on.

The smiling sculpt was a poor choice by Hot Toys. It would have been fine as a second head sculpt but for just having one, I would have much preferred at least a scowl and not the goofy smile.

Here's hoping my regular from Alter Ego ships soon.

What a great week! Dark side anakin AND Palpy. I’ve been dying to setup my Death Star 2 display. (I also snagged a shipper sealed Hot Toys Limited Edition ANH Luke off eBay for the original Sideshow cost; plus I used a coupon to get a little more off). Great week! Lol. Now, my wallet needs a break.

What an expensive month! P2 Elder Predator , Celtic Predator + Elite biomask, now the (deluxe) Emperor himself. Next month: Death Trooper Specialist and Shadow Predator, then I've gotta start saving up for Prime 1's Giger Alien statue.
