I'm surprised too. I really expected two pack, it was no brainer. But nothing. I'll pick one and hopefully second one on secondary market for a more decent price.

Might be a good idea. It always seems like the Troopers go for quite a bit lower shortly after they release anyways either on the secondary market or even just on sales so I’m not in a rush this time. They were never my favorite designs truthfully but they’d look cool by the Emperor’s side.

I placed my order for the deluxe Palpatine through BBTS. No NRD and $4 flat rate shipping is hard to beat. If I change my mind on the entire set later I’ll cancel and just get the standard figure from either BBTS or Sideshow.

Never can tell for sure but I would be cautious about relying on secondary market with these. Most folks buying are probably getting multiples. At least BBTS will combine shipping at the bargain price of $4.

Yeah, it's possible the guards may not be big sellers with the general population so may get some discounts down the line. I would imagine Zuckuss and Royal Guard would duke it out for #47 on the average/non-hard-core SW buyer's wish list.

Even if that’s the case I’m not terribly concerned. I’ll get at least one secured within the next couple months or so. The way I think I want to display the Emperor they won’t be integral anyways honestly. They’d basically be there if I decided to change up my display now and again and have them by his sides.
