Sideshow might have done away with those for good, been a couple months since anybody has received one I think. And folks have called but customer service apparently does not know if they will return.

That's really cheap of them, especially with other retailers undercutting them in both price and shipping. Their only advantage is they get the HT figures first in the US.

I’m I’m the UK but my code was only available on the TFA shelf warmers along with SSC R2 and 3PO with some life size stuff. If it worked on other items I might have used it.

They sent me a crappy coupon for 20 dollars off or something but it was for "select" items only. So basically all their stuff not selling.

Same with global free shipping which is a huge deal for me and probably for any other overseas collector - $49 (!) saved. They apply that only on shelf warmers and junk. I just with we could get free shipping more often or Sideshow once again open europe branch.

I think we should have one this month. They only give out 9 or 10 a year so a couple months are always skipped. There was one that ended in December.

I have a few things coming and it would be nice to get one but i will not lose sleep over it if i don't

One of the reasons I don't order directly from Sideshow anymore. I still have some rewards points there, but they can shove it where the Tatooine twin suns don't shine

Silly question. Why is everybody accepting the fact that there are 2 guards besides the Emperor? This doesn't happen in any scene in the movie. There are 6 of them, if I remember well, when he gets down the ship, and in the final scene there are 2 in the elevator, really far from the throne, and they go away immediately.
I mean, putting them besides the throne, is totally inaccurate.

Two in the office, two in the throne room. Always two in the near proximity. Is that a too difficult logic for you?

I'm not saying anybody how many guards or stormtroopers or jawas they need for their display. I'm just pointing that for some reason, it has been widely accepted and as iconic as any other image in the movies, the Emperor on his throne flanked by 2 guards. They've been displayed like that in toys, statues and comics, and HT is doing promo images with them together, and I find it funny that they never appear this way in the actual movies. Of course they look great together and they make a great display!

Because it's a promo image it's not canon. You don't see all the characters mashed together, bigger and smaller, like you do in the posters within the actual movie.
