Alter Ego would of charged almost $50 for shipping to Canada for this figure on top of that. This is why i chose to go with Good shipped. Plus i would not have to pay for any duty or taxes if i had ordered from sideshow or Alter Ego.

I just had to cancel my preorder for 2 of these. Got charged for Vader and then I got into a car accident and need to pay a $500 deductible so also having an additional $400+ worth of pending figure charges just wasn't in the cards. I'm REALLY hoping he doesn't sell out!

Bad business model.

I only collect Star Wars hot toys (and vintage) so not having any announcements or actual releases from the previews stinks.

I just got an email from Sideshow saying my Royal Guard is arriving in their warehouse in a few days and I'm going to be charged on Friday, August 31st. A little sooner than I thought, and I just unpacked Vader last night. If you listen closely you can hear my wallet crying...

So with Anakin and Mark IV coming in September, Palpatine and Vader ESB in November (this month Jedi Luke and R2D2), I had to set priority and cancelled Cap Anniversary and WW JL...

Honestly, we have announced pre-orders stretching into Q3 2019. Not sure I’m ready to put in pre-orders for 2020 releases...

I'm in the same boat but I also get Bandai figures but yes, where the heck are the SW preorders? Things can't be going that bad for SWs can they?

Sucks you had to cancel a few items. Looking at your list I think we share the same pre-orders outside of the Mark IV. [emoji16] (Scared to buy even one Iron Man. Don't want to open that good gate).

Can't wait for some pics of the Guard. Really is odd to not be getting them from overseas first. I've been happy with most pieces lately so not having to wait a month or two after the release is nice though. Wonder if this will be the new norm...

I’m in the same boat. Sucks not having any new HT’s OT stuff. Perfectly good Death Star Trooper just rotting away when many would buy two. No Bespin Leia PO and where the heck is Lando? They have to know OT figures sell, right?

It's got a velvet feel to and its got some weight.
