I just received my royal guard and there are small black dots on the robe. Is that part of the design, or is that a defect?

I am member and bought a handful of figures. 10‰ off to the preorder price and 10‰ deposit when you preorder. Deluxe Palpatine +throne was 299€ on preorder, I paid a deposit of 27€ for a total of 269€.

Wow! Much better price than I was able to get it for! Going to check em out more often now, much better prices than some of the local retailers here in Sweden.

That seems like damage, any pics? The issues some had were with white dots, but those were fixable with a bit of water and ironing

got mine Christmas day so happy it has no spots!! I won the lottery :lol just got my hot toys deluxe emperor to pay off over the next few months will probably pay the first £55 jan 5th and then pay the last 2 £55 instalments feb 5th sod waiting until march :lol

I contacted LCDN.be. They told me they ship the figures as they receive them. And some come with brown shipper box and some not.

Mine came with black dots. I didn’t think I’d be bothered by them based on some pictures I’d seen, but they’re all over and are on the front. Anyone have any home remedies to clean it or is it better contacting Sideshow for a replacement?

got my two and one has no spots and the other has one very small one. Should be able to iron it out without any problems. Really nice figure.

Yep, iron with a towel over the robe is the way to go. Removes crushed material issue and of course irons out creases due to packing. Looks great after an iron ! Can totally recommend it. Chalor had some details instructions probably 20 pages back or so.

The light spots come out with the methods Hoody mentioned but have only heard s few incidents of the black spots but no remedies. If it were me I’d contact SS for a replacement. Gotta be within the 30 days of delivery though.

Yeah, just got it today and email sent already. Hoping they’ll just send me a new robe as the last time I had to send back a full figure it took forever to get it back. Thing is I hope to get a second one eventually so I hope I don’t have the same issue twice.

Nice..I apparently did a good job lol. Yeah Phobicsquirrel, if you can't find the page or just need to ask anything, feel free to PM me.

Still waiting for my 4 to arrive. Should arrive next month. My seller seems to be the last store in Europe to get these guys.

Sideshow customer service sure takes time replying to requests. It’s been a week already since I emailed them about the dots on my Guard’s robe and no answer still.

One of the reps told me last week that they are still working through their holiday backlog.

I have a couple of open cases right now. One has been taking months with a reply a week if I'm lucky. The other I got one response a couple of weeks ago, but no followup.
