Wow, so happy to see the Dewback looking nearly as good as the proto. Guess they must have listened to all the Blurrg criticism.

Makes me a bit more comfortable shelling out for this now.

Love how this Sandtrooper has the different blue colouring in the backpack as well.

Such a great looking trooper, I also don't have that rifle either ! Or of course the white pauldron. Was going to paint one of the orange pauldrons white, no need now.

So I'll have 3 Sandies around the Dewback now.

Does anyone know if there was only 1x orange and 1x white ? What did the others have ?

I recall Sandtroopers were how I got into Hot Toys collecting. I always loved how they looked. Also remember this movie still in the middle of New Hope novel I had as a kid. Still have it somewhere.

So this guy is a must for me !

Have a closer look at that movie still pic above. The top of the canister has a blue tinge.

But I agree, I also wasn't aware of that for the Sergeant.

Can't tell, but does this trooper look like he has more of a sheen than the old Sandtrooper? I never liked how flat that armor looked so ended up shining him up a little. Looks like that may not be necessary here.

The bloggers totally failed with the photos of this trooper. Turns out there are 2 rifles as well.

Favourite trooper look and the helmet is perfect for me. I know you freaks out there will point out small things with the bucket, but c'mon compared to the Rogue One Disney helmets these ones here on the Sandies look amazing imo !!

This is HTs' best attempt at an OT stormtrooper bucket, always been my favourite but it's still several kinds of wrong. It gets the 'vibe' right, though.

The RO helmets get a lot of flak for looking too Disney, too cute, lacking the menace of the 1:1 prop etc. but they're technically the most accurate stormtrooper helmet (to the source material) Hot Toys has ever done and I still like them.

Truth is the company can't or won't do an accurate stormtrooper to save their lives.
