3/4 of its cost I already paid last year to the EU distributor I'm getting this from, I also got a deal with 15 Euros off and free shipping. Now just to wait and see when they get it in stock. I believe I know where I'm going to display it. I haven't gotten a Star Wars collectible for some time already...

I don’t think you are wrong. It’s a great set but it’s expensive and takes up an insane amount of space. This feels like lando. Everyone screamed about lando and then nobody bought him.
I’m still on the fence. If I cancel it, that would be the most grown up and responsible decision I’ve ever made.
What have i become?

Please see above for how well canceling something you really want goes. Fortunately, my FOMO hit before I had to resort to after market pricing to get it. My personal opinion is keep it and if you don't have space for it/don't love it, sell it on the after market for a profit in six months.

I have the Sideshow version that I bought back when it was released.

I'm having a hard time justifying buying this one.

FOMO is killing me.

A responsible collector considering all factors. Same reason I talked myself out of a second speeder bike. Suspect this will be my first and last large critter because a Mythosaur would be over the top.

On the other hand, if you can picture your collection 2, 5 years from now; and think you'll wish you had it, get it even if you have to store in a closet for a while. You may end up buying a bookcase or cabinet to put this on. Vertical space. Also, you'd probably be able to sell. I've seen folks customize Detolfs into a "double".

Only you can decide if you have FOMO or really want this piece. At any rate, IMO it looks great; a good job from HT.
