Great shots.
Not a lot of people got the Dewback though, huh?

I ordered the set, but since I'm in Europe and I ordered locally I probably have to wait 4-8 months before he's here.Great shots.

I think most of us are still waiting on Sideshow to ship it.Great shots.

I'm more praying and hoping it's delayed from Sideshow a bit longer, based on my recent spree of stuff...but yesI think most of us are still waiting on Sideshow to ship it.
Yeah, I think I sold my Sideshow Dewey for $1450 a few years ago. I use that math and the interest gained on that money to justify the HT purchase.I'm also waiting on Sideshow.
It is pretty interesting to see though. I can remember so many people saying over the years they would love another chance at a Dewback because Sideshow version was too expensive on eBay etc.
Now we have a Hot Toys version, there's pretty low interest. Price is pretty high though I guess. But nothing like the eBay prices they're all over $1000 ??
Just can't beat that Sandtrooper helmet imo. Can't get any more classic that that !

In fact I remember it was a couple of 1/10 scale ART-FX Sandtroopers which got me into this crazy hobby. Found them and then found Hot Toys.
These are the guys. They still look great as a pair.
That’s exactly how I got into hot toys. Just mine was boba fett art fx.![]()

You’ve taken your first step into a larger worldThat's exactly the one I had as well! I've been slowly relaxing all of my 1/10 figures with their Hot Toys replacements.

Nothing fancy, it's just some bubble wrap taped around a couple pieces of wood. I've also used a torso mannequin off of Facebook marketplace for another bust that I'm putting together.Haha cool !! Still love your Sandie 1:1. I will still make one, one of these days !!! So cool !
What did you use underneath it for the body/upper torso to put the armour on again ?
Yeah, this one certainly seems to be playing out super slowly, but maybe there'll be a Dewy deluge in the next two or so months as SSC and the other big players ship them.Great shots.

I think it’s waitlisted on SS and sold out elsewhere, so I think it’s fairly popular…or made in very small quantitiesYeah, this one certainly seems to be playing out super slowly, but maybe there'll be a Dewy deluge in the next two or so months as SSC and the other big players ship them.
I don't think this will end up like the Blurrg (a cool OT-era design that's at the same time kind of a goofy/ugly mash-up of a t-rex and piranha) but it also doesn't seem to be a hot seller. Its price plus economic context alone I guess should have signaled that, not to mention sheer size and display space commitment.
