Haha oh don't worry darth vader is coming Monday and I've got like and boba fett on order! Been only collecting marvel so far. So I've really opened a can of worms by starting on Star Wars haha! Just gutted I missed out on Han Solo and chewbacca, hoping we might see different versions down the line. And so the collection keeps on growing!

I had to pick up a second Sandy. I stole Shadowtrooper's pauldron and added some weathering.
Very nice work! I wish I had snagged a loose shadow trooper pauldron to change up the two I'm getting.

I like the little rock you added on the left stand. Definitely want to get a black pauldron if they make one. And if I have space for it after all the other figures HT is probably also going to make.

Pre ordered mine at PC last night before the eventual price hike before it comes into stock lol
On a side note, it's kind of annoying that you have to pay in full for preorders under $300. I think a $100 deposit across the board for these figures is enough considering it is non refundable anyway.

So I'm pretty new to collecting hot toys figures. I currently just own the 1/4 scale Boba Fett figure and I have Kylo Ren on pre-order.
My original plan was to just collect the TFA figures since by the time I decided to start collecting I missed out on most of the OT figures I wanted.
I decided I was going to go for Kylo, The two pack of new order stormtrooper officer and regular trooper to back up kylo and then pick up Rey. The way they are spaced out allows me to afford them nicely.
The thing is that the Sandtrooper is by far my favourite trooper from the franchise. But it would seem out of place in the collection that I am currently going for.
What do you guys think I should do? Should I get this guy and then maybe just go for 1 first order trooper instead of the two pack?

Definitely. If this guy is your favorite there's no way you'll be disappointed. I'm sure a couple more OT figures will tempt you down the line to go along with him.

I'd just go for the sandtrooper. I'll be getting mine in about 10 days. I checked out the new stormtroopers but if you want the detail and a great looking realistic trooper I'd go for this. Regular stormtroopers just look a bit too clean cut for me. This however is perfect. And is a classic part of the original trilogy!
