Nothing new but nice little montage and track. :lol Can imagine it sounding great from a good set of speakers instead of this doggone iPad!

Here's TD8800's set up. Looks an awful lot like our HT figure.

Looks fantastic!! I'm almost tempted to get two of them but I'll hold off in case a variant is made. Definitely stoked for this figure to arrive though!

Exactly what I keep thinking. I think I will hold out for a variant though, I'm sure HT will make more

His costume is based on a specific sandtrooper, which HT used for reference.

All of the weathering patterns are distinct for screen used costumes, as are various other tells ... the MEPD is a great resource I consulted when doing customs. He has an MEPD SWAT-level costume -- it's awesome.

Mine is not. LOL...

The pauldron has a nylon backing. I slit that on one end with an X-Acto knife and pulled out the foam padding. I also cut the hidden elastic strap which also holds it too stiffly.

The only problem left is the fake leather is too shiny, but simple paint or matte spray will kill that.

Thanks! :duff

Yep... in the same damn boat.:slap:lol

It's really coming down to a choice - collect all the cool 1/6 figs coming out in the next three years or buy a new car.

The choice is clear.

Glad I have my focus. Even with that I struggle getting everything I like.
Cannot imagine how it is for completists...

This figure looks great, and being so specific in its accuracy and weathering, it forces you to buy the others or at least customize this one if want to have more than one HT andie. Though I'll definitely buy the other 2 when released.

His armor has that thumbprint on the bicep as well, must have been on the move along prop armor, although I can't find any pictures.

Is the entire front brow 'lip' glued on all the way across, or just on the sides? Wondering how easy it might be to move it down a little. Love the overall sandtrooper look but I'm more a fan of the regular placement of that brow on the helmet, I'm aware that the higher placement is accurate to one of the troopers in the movie.
