Three is perfect to me -- orange, black and white (orange pauldron is my favourite, though). Think they'll really look great as a set.

Two is enough for me. Would like orange and black but if white gets released first I'll just end up buying that and probably end up with 3.

Or it makes it doubly impressive. I definitely vacillate between a single version of a figure and multiples of some troops. And I'm with you Bo, if you had to go with just one, the Orange pauldron Sandtrooper would be the one in terms of stormtroopers/Stormtrooper variants. Nice lived in looking figure. And this one is so impressive.

it is indeed. Just a real 'wow' factor when unboxing this figure. Absolutely awesome, but i have to say troopers for me look at their best in sets of 2 or 3.

The orange is how I remembered them as a kid, and I think are most iconic. I am getting 2 of these and (hopefully) stopping there. IMO troopers look great in pairs, it at least implies that these soldiers were one of many. The Internet says every one orange guy led a unit of 7 others. Not going there, I already have a small stormy army.

posed up and in the detolf . i like the orange so will be getting another .

For those that have him in hand is the Shoulder pad removable and are the side packs the same slide on as the Shadow Trooper?

Gawd, I wish I could take those kind of pictures, Nash. Beautiful. Really show the detail distressing on the binocs and weathering on the armor.

Thanks Wor-Gar :hi5: I just use the standard camera on my Galaxy S5 with a setting for close-ups. It's amazing how phone cameras these days are so sharp!

LOVING these Sandtroopers!!

I'm trying to decide between 2, 3 or 6. I feel as if all 6 may be overkill. No interest in no-pauldron trooper.

Don't forget many of them didn't have packs because they were going to tumble when being shot at.

So for a movie accurate squadron you can just buy the bodies on eBay and skip a complete Sandtrooper.

Personally I'm just after the squadron that stopped Luke and Ben in the speeder.

Can anyone ,that has it in hand, take a side by side photo with the SSC Desert Sands Sandtrooper?
