Or is it? :wink1:

Yeah I will not be surprised if this to get a HK release in NOV-DEC.

I feel like it was announced and scheduled during the peak of lock down hence the 2 year wait but those conditions have since changed and will continue to do so.

It might be like Mando and some others and come out in small batches but I think it will beat it's original release date.

It really does. Its been 9 months. Wonder why it feels so long? Covid I guess.

Makes you wonder why the Blurrg set has a 12 month PO-to-ship window, whereas poor ol' Luke here gets the nearly-two-years treatment.

I guess you have to strike while Mando is hot, while the OT will always be there.

Idk, HT has a lot of releases ahead. 53 from what I counted. This guy on FB keeps track of releases on Excel sheets and is pretty accurate. Either way, a long ways away and lots of Endgame releases incoming.

The Spidey Anti Ock suit just released and that was slated for Q1 next year, so they might push another few things forward.

They are going to need to move some stuff up or potentially have a ton of delays. The first six months of 2022 is jam packed with figure due dates and HT seems to like to take February and March off for their new year's thing.

How many Spidermen have HT release to this point? MK IV Spidey arrived early and no other figures lately. They have the fig down to a T and I expect the Classic suit will arrive early as well. Only thing you can maybe figure out is what is easy and not easy for production. Reused head sculpt, mostly reused accessories. Outfit? Well its no Iron Man armor, but hasn't been done by HT before. Helmet too.

Mando was released early too, also no head sculpt required. Probably makes a huge difference in turnaround time and which factories they can lean on for production.

I don't think these video game variant suits aren't getting high preorder numbers either, so they're probably easy to produce in small numbers and get out the door. Spider-man is becoming Iron Man in number of suit releases but they're really similar and I don't see nearly as many people grabbing all the variants like people do for Iron Man.

They are definitely trying to do the same thing with spider man as with iron man. Probably not a complete failure but I don't think they are having the same success. And just wait until you have about 15-20 of those spidey suits and they all start deteriorating in a few years.
