Thanks for this! So the boots and belt are from this release along with the head? Looks like a great update to the DX07.So here’s the question that I’m sure a few people are thinking about, which is basically putting on the old Bespin outfit, but everything else is from the new figure and that’s exactly what I did. I know this thing is getting a lot of grief on the head sculpt, but in person, I think it looks pretty good.
Why bother. I refuse to give my ad revenue etc to listen to that crap. Jedha and Man of Hot Collectibles have their reviews up and are far superior.Prepares for joyless monotone AI review devoid of any tonal shift in frequency and emotion in the service of keeping everything uniform at super OCD levels.
Nah i’m half joking I just enjoy watching content where the figure is in under different lighting conditions so i’ll watch it anyways. Why bother. I refuse to give my ad revenue etc to listen to that crap. Jedha and Man of Hot Collectibles have their reviews up and are far superior.
I think the issue was the extra piece of plastic was the problem, plus the force of installing the helmet. Just a bad combinationNice review! Do you think the plastic piece on the chinstrap was a factory error on yours or a widespread issue? Nice alert for others to cut or sand it off if it exists.
I'm particularly happy with the material and look of the boots, the grapple gun, and the paint and weathering of the helmet.
Not sure who that is but in Justin’s review he gets the new hair piece on the Jedi sculpt.Interesting. Contrary to what others are saying according to man of hot collectibles the hair pieces are not exactly interchangable

Thank you for the new phrase I am going to start using "Banging the eyebrows off it". Excellent. My DX07 had issues with the bangs scraping the eyebrows off which could be a concern when switching hair to ROTJ luke.
I think Man of Hot Collectables was maybe more suggesting you shouldn't rather than it being impossible potentially, and that maybe there was some resistance when putting it on?
Here are some photos by DAVE LOTTS from the UK Star Wars Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles Facebook group.

1st photo is the comparison photo. Hot Toys on the left.
2nd and 3td photo is the figure stripped down.
4th photo with the fat suit removed.
Man this makes the Sideshow one look extremely bad, despite it being so high regarded.
Justin compares them
Don’t worry i’ll be showing all the accessories on the figure later on in the video!I don't know whether I really want to punch in for a closer look.
The chest box looks pretty darn close when you put it up against a screenshot of Luke in ESB.I don't know how it'll feel in hand, but in pictures the chest box looks *massive*. Way thicker than it should be imo.
So long as it's just straight up and down in the lightbox, no crazy poses.Don’t worry i’ll be showing all the accessories on the figure later on in the video!
