They have all the time. OT is legendary and will sell anytime. They need to milk fresh stuff (spin offs, ep 8, ...) first so I fear we will not see more ESB or ROTJ figures for a looong time.

This makes monkey a sad monkey. :monkey2

Or they spend the next few years getting through the OT then the prequels then circle back around to 2.0 versions of OT characters. Let's be honest, all the ANH figures could use 2.0 versions later on down the line.

Unless of course they can be repurposed into Rogue One/Battlefront figures. I have a feeling we will see the Death Star squad, Gonk's, and perhaps even a Royal Guard as reel outs from Rogue One.

Well, that's good in a way we will see those figures at all. But ... there will be differences between ANH / Rogue One versions so it's not THAT good for some of us.

I had a couple coupons so just ordered two regular single troopers. I'll never use the extra accessories and hate the flight stand.

Yeah I think Leia is the only good sculpt. Han is the worst.

I can definitely see a Royal Guard from R1 happening.

Oh picky, picky. Personally, I like the idea of alternate-casting figures with an aged Richard Chamberlain as Ben, Richard Hatch as Han and Tom Cruise as Luke. :dunno

I pulled the trigger and PO'ed. I had to use that $50 coupon for international buyers on something.

What coupon is this and where can I find it?

Thanks

Nowhere. SSC emailed it to me about month ago like a "thanks for you being an international buyer". Code has part of my name and was locked to my account.

It was a nice gesture. Free shipping overseas (mine is always $46).

This figure's pre-order is coupon eligible? I didn't think that was possible.

Me neither. But I tried that and it worked. Maybe that coupon is special snowflake not like the regular $20 off.

You have to be careful - the coupon code will go through, but they'll disallow it once the order processes. There's even a mention in the terms and conditions that even if the code is accepted it will be reviewed/denied if not eligible.

I have a coupon code that's valid another few days (same kind - "thank you code") and I should try it on this fig, but my guess is it won't go through at time of processing.

That being said, I managed to get $30 off the SSC ATAT driver using a code during Spook and realized later that the figure wasn't coupon eligible until a couple of weeks after, and yet my order shipped with the $30 savings, so go figure.:dunno

No Alex said International coupons work on preorders now. It's Sideshow's way of lessening the burden since they increased shipping costs (and we have to pay 20% taxes and other fees).

Thank you. What a relief. I mean shipping to me is $46 (!) so the $50 off for international buyer isn't that much, just a free shipping. I'm glad I could experience that at least once :)

Thanks for letting me know. Sideshow certainly didn't.:lol
