Thanks everyone. New developments work-wise so I really don't have much time to shoot these properly, but wanted to give you an idea -- they're excellent figures and worth getting now.

Some figures you can wait and get below retail eventually, if you're patient -- not sure that's gonna be the case with these.

If you're on the fence, jump off. These weren't a must-have for me but I don't regret snagging them.

Is ESB is mentioned anywhere on the box etc. of the standard version? & does the stand say 'Snowtrooper' instead of 'Imperial Snowtrooper'? thanks

The box doesn't reference ESB at all. I haven't actually looked at the bases; if I get a chance I will, but I think you can probably find pics online before I get around to checking my box....

Great shots wongderek...those new snowies are beautiful..but the SS version is still a nice piece and with a few modifications can look even better..

Thanks for the comparison pics! I think the HT versions raise the benchmark on these, but I think these pics also show that the SSC snowies are still right up there as extremely good figures in the own right.
