I was iffy on getting this figure but having finally seen the film tonight I think I do want it. I prefer this version over the Mudtrooper personally. Mudtrooper is cool in a way but overall he doesn’t wear it much and I don’t think it’s the most iconic Trooper design. I’d be happy with this Han, a Chewie, and Beckett. I liked Lando but he had less of a role than I expected and I don’t expect Qi’ra to be made.

Watched the movie last night and really loved it! I was planning on getting him even before I watched the movie, but now having seen it I really want it! Definitely getting the deluxe. I would also love a version with the shirt and white vest from the beginning of the movie, but it seems very unlikely to get a third Han. They should have just included the shirt and vest and made this a super-deluxe version!

Agreed! They did the same thing with Guardians Vol.2 Star Lord, so it would have been cool to see it done here too.

I dunno. I want to like this, but the sculpt seems off, the stitching on the jacket is way too pronounced, and his hands are way too big. Every time I see a pic of this, I can't help but think it's some cheap Barbie style toy. Here's to hoping the final product looks great in hand.

Not a huge fan of the sculpt. And the lower half looks good but something about the jacket/shirt doesn’t seem to be working for me. Is that the right material for the jacket, looks like a thin suede material?

I was maybe interested in the deluxe with the fur coat though, as the sculpt looks fine like that, but will likely pass ultimately.

I like the actor but find he doesn't look like himself in that movie (of course, they tried to make him look like Ford somehow)
I was very surprised when I heard he was going to be Solo...

I find the head sculpt too... perfect : Alden's face is clearly not symetrical (no one is actually) and it's too obvious
but it's not bad I think, the figure looks like the character from the movie

but as I don't really think any other of his movies would lead to a HT figure, this one should be the one (not sure Disney would release other Solo movies either) :)
and I'm hesitating : I d'ont think I need the fur coat or hidind the face with goggles but the extra hair scultp could be nice, I just can't really see how it looks without the goggles...

I don't know if I should pre-order : if it doesn't seel good at all, european shops may not have stock and I don't how I woud get it if I finnaly decide to buy it ^^
I have time to decide

just a question : which is more accurate ?

the non-promo HS doesn't look good :(

Yeah, not sure I see a difference aside from the way the pictures are lit. One is clearly in natural light the other is a promo shot.

Can’t wait to get my hands on this head sculpt. I can finally finish my custom Michael Knight figure! :yess:

i'm afraid of being disapointed : if I don't PO and can't get it finally or if the final product is not good enough :gah:

Lighting, lens distortion, we are always revolving around those factors when discussing likeness accuracy. Some characters sculpts are spot on, some close enough and others more questionable. In the end, one can hardly make final judgement before seeing it with his own eyes. Unfortunately, thses days, fewer collectors have the luxury to examine a figure before actually pulling the trigger.
