Hot Toys SOLO Mudtrooper

Are you me? Honestly can't think of much more I'll need. That is, until the 2.0's start rolling out...

I think a lot of collectors of 1/6 SW figures are starting to have this same mindset. Lately although the releases have still been fairly frequent, the figures themselves have been undesirable and in some cases completely pointless IMO ( examples HT Jawa, Cody, Rex ) already have decent enough SSC renditions that were out years ago and don’t need to be re released. I know troop variants will always sell, that’s a given, but Hot Toys must read these forums from time to time and realise the pent up anticipation for some new Original Trilogy main characters. ESB Lando and Han would be their biggest sellers without question.

I have no doubt this will be like Count Dooku. Everyone though that had sold out and then it miraculously came back into stock everywhere. C'mon at the end of the day it's from Solo......not a baaad movie but it was pretty much a paint by numbers beige ass star wars movie!

I want an ESB Han big time too, but at least in the case of the troopers they have nothing, but reasons to make them again. The clone trooper secondary market is big right now.

Spoiler. It's a beautiful figure, but not without its difficulties. The respirator WILL dent the sculpt. I'll be looking for an extra sculpt to combat this. If you have the opportunity to pick this guy up, do it.

If I was going to have a stable income in the next few years I'd have more aggressively tried to snag one of these in this rush. But given my life plans I have to curtail 1/6 to a minimum of core characters and wants. I do really like this guy but not enough to toss my a member of my existing PO list off the boat.

Po'd from Popcultcha and paid deposit of 64.46 plus shipping at 28.36. I remember seeing two different prices for this guy on their site at 238.50 and 266.50 (USD). I checked my invoice but I cant see what price I PO'd him at.

Anyone Po'd from Popcultcha know how to see the overall price of this guy? I'm sure I must be missing something.

It isn't. But if you got to the product page you can see the date the preorder early bird price was valid to (midnight 29 June 2018 Australian eastern standard time) and then check your invoice date.

My preorder didn?t work out and I think advertising here for anotoys didn?t help since now they are sold out too. Guess I will wait to see if BBTS will have any in stock closer to release in July.
