Hot Toys - Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - 1/6th scale Miles Morales

Body looks off too, like they re-used ITSV body even though he’s a bit older and much bigger in this movie.

That's what I thought, I don't watch trailers but going off the figuarts I got the sense he had like, aged and grown

After seeing the film… we have reached peak animation in what has to be described as one of the best animated movies of all time. Certainly the best animation in a movie. But Toy Story 3 still wins for best animated film imo.
Having said that… this is a staggering triumph. I’m purposely not saying anything about it because almost anything I say will rob you of experiencing this story for the first time.

The only issue I had with it was that it was maybe 15 minutes or so too long. Everything else was near perfect.

I don’t think so, they did this before with Black Widow from the solo movie, a Mando Boba Fett, and maybe one other?
After a specific amount of time, you couldn’t get the exclusive accessories anymore. Between that and the seemingly smaller production numbers, I wouldn’t risk calling their bluff on these things.

Nothing but praise for this movie so far and we get a ****** 2099 figure from Hot Toys. Such a damn shame.

The movie was amazing, and I would highly suggest avoiding spoilers and going in as blind as possible.

Hot Toys not creating a new body to match Miles's growth spurt was a big miss, and this new head sculpt just isn't working for me... however, I love the half-masked special edition head sculpt, and the casual clothes are great, so I will be picking this up.

Yep, they did it with the Iron Man Mk III as well, with the crushed helmet as the timed exclusive.

Just got to see this movie and I went in thinking it would be really hard to beat the first film. I was wrong. It’s a master class in film making not just animation. It’s stunning and beautiful and the story has so much heart and 2hrs and 20mins didn’t seem long enough. The Easter eggs were fantastic without seeming like Remember-berries and didn’t take away from the story. Be it animated or live action this for me has been the best movie out so far this year. Sony killed it. Without a doubt this will be the highest grossing animated film…well until part 3 gets released.

Knowing this page is for talking about the figures so I’ll admit, before coming on here - I indeed ordered the Rebel Base Exclusive. Wasn’t FOMO…it was I want it, period. Shame HT didn’t put more love into their 2099 Spider-Man….because what they shown looks no different then Mondo’s X-Men cartoon line.

Movie was excellent, more thought and effort went into single scenes went into the entire script for NWH. What a massive shame that so far all these HT figures are such a miss. Everything 1/12 scale looks so much better. There is so much they could do and I don't trust Hot Toys with any of it

Loved the movie, I still haven't picked up Miles from the first one so this might push me in that direction. I think I'd rather have that than the new version, like others have mentioned the proportions don't really represent him having grown.

Really a shame with 2099, I still love the look of it just not the execution or the price but maybe if its on discount at some point.

Yeah, Hot Toys needs to go back to the drawing board on the body and the hair. The film even addresses his more adult body proportions on multiple occasions.

I'll echo everyone else's thoughts, the film is a masterpiece, and it has earned every cent and more that it will make.

The first one is spectacular, and is hard to beat, yet this film did that and more. You did a good job when 2 hours and 20 minutes go by in a flash and your audience is begging for more at the end of it.

I was going to pass on the Gwen version of this film because I think it’s going to be a rehash of the previous one…but honestly after watching the film…This version of Gwen is a must have IMO

I hope they kind of go all out with her like they do with Miles. Give her the casual look she had when she met up with Miles again as well. We'll see, no doubt in my mind the two of them will look incredible next to each other just like the original's.

If anything the hair color needs to be more accurate …way too dark of a tone on the previous unmasked head of Gwen and I hope HT…please …please give the unmasked Gwen head the bare neck/ suit collar combo…the figure is going to suffer without it
