1/6 Hot Toys - Star Wars: Rogue One - Assault Tank Commander Collectible Figure

I think there is potential for them to do a Baze eventually. Rogue One was an instant classic, i think completing the main characters would be a wise move.

Personally I am mainly an Empire/Mando collector. Loved Rogue One and especially the new trooper designs. Only ever had the Death Trooper Specialist Deluxe. I think have a DeathTrooper, Shoretrooper and Tank Assault Trooper would give a good representation of my second favourite SW film.

Watching Justin’s preview, and I guess there is an argument about having a Tank Trooper but no tank…I don’t get that at all. Not like you need a tie fighter for the pilot etc. Anyways, love the helmet design and I think it will look amazing in a RO display.

We got Krennic randomly released in 2020. We got two troopers in 2021 under the RO banner due to parts similarities to the Mando entries. I predict Baze under the RO banner when the Andor series hits in 2022 and brings some hype back for RO things.

That said, I got two of these on order. Excited to get them, but I hope HT spreads out trooper releases some. As an imperial troop builder, these next few months are tense.

Yep totally agree. Rogue One was THE movie for cool new designs. Deathtropoers, Shoretroopers etc.

I firmly believe we'll get Baze eventually. Just need to keep reminding them in those FB comments to show we haven't forgotten, and people want him.

It'll be a long way until we even get Cassian though. But Andor is probably our last chance for Hot Toys to ride any hype for Baze.

After the Mando Shoretrooper dropped i am really in the mood to also pick this up. Those RO designs are amazing.

Looking forward to adding the Tank Assault trooper, as well. One of my favorite trooper designs in all of Star Wars.

Hopefully this is a one batch only co-ordinated release like the Shoretroopers. Really looking forward to this as it fills in that Rogue One trooper gap in the collection.

Yeah, I’m more interested in the Transport Trooper but it’s cool this one is coming out soon. Still undecided as to whether I’ll order it.

That’s why they say coming soon. They’ve probably heard it’s coming out soon then send out emails to try and get some extra sales, wether its true or not is another question.

They do this a lot, sometimes true and other times not.

I do find it strange that there isn't more excitement for this release but I think once the videos and in-hand pics start arriving, it will turn around big-time.

It’s a cool trooper, but I don’t have a place for it. The only Rogue One figures I have are Vader and Krennic.

Those are two fantastic figures. My favorite Vader figure and Krennic is just an amazing figure, all around. Good choices.

I have the Death trooper and plan on getting the Shoretrooper grunt... but this particular design is my favorite in RO.

I think the three should look very nice together.

Gareth Edwards has said they put this helmet in the film specifically because George Lucas visited the set and picked it out.

So if anyone needs a bit of a push because they’re on the fence, maybe that will help. I have the ANOVOS helmet, and I like having that sort of background info and connection.

Though it’s a really cool trooper design overall from a great movie which is reason enough to get the figure.
