I am surprised by how many people don't know about the bicep armour indent. Seems like every few pages someone thinks they have a dud.

Some of these things regarding accuracy maybe should have their own accuracy thread LOL. Sticker spot on the Sandtrooper orange pauldron, thumbprint on Stormtrooper bicep armor, Stormtrooper bubble lenses on Hero and flat lenses on Stunt (Sandie) helmets, black tusk and dual color on Vader helmet, gray AT-AT Driver, etc. etc.
The fact that HT pays attention to so many details, yet forgets/ignores the bump in the right eye, makes this a no buy for me. It just doesn't look authentic without it.
As much as I like this figure, the helmet still bothers me. The fact that HT pays attention to so many details, yet forgets/ignores the bump in the right eye, makes this a no buy for me. It just doesn't look authentic without it.

Time to throw my stormtrooper in the trash. The missing bump in the right eye is just all eye see right now.

Do you honestly look at this figure and that's all you see?
I'm not sure what you guys are talking about, and I don't think I want to know.
Good choice....ignorance is bliss.

I own an RS Props suit, and the helmet is on display in my living room, so yes, it was the first thing I noticed about the figure. When you look at the real thing all the time, an idealized or perfected version stands out. I understand why companies do this, I just don't think it looks right when "corrected".
There's a scene in A New Hope right after C-3PO and R2 are launched in their pod where you get a really good shot of 2 stormtroopers leading Leia to Vader.
I am blown away by how different the 2 helmets look. Literally almost every feature of each helmet looks different. So when you say something isn't accurate are you comparing every different helmet version or do you just pick one version to be obsessed by? Can you honestly say there is a bump in the right eye of every stormtrooper helmet used in the OT?
What eye bump?
