I bought one. I think gold is actually a pretty cool variant, unlike that lame looking copper version.

Same. I do have the copper one too but I like the look of this a little more. Price is nice for a con exclusive too. I was expecting at least $250.

Hot Toys Stormtrooper is the new Iron Man... a million and one variants, sure to oversaturate and already saturated market. But, Hot Toys being savvy will milk the SW cash cow just like the Marvel cash cow. Good, more profit means more likely to do other licenses.

I'm sort of assuming none of the molds are the same for her armor but I could be wrong there. Haven't bothered to look too closely. I think you're right on about when the right time to buy this is. I think it would look really sharp when I get those gold caps on my teeth.

If I could flex pay it, then I probably would have bitten... Anyway, I still feel that the HT original Stormtroopers helmets are too big, looks silly to me.

No flex option is a real put me on the fence on this one. Unfortunately leaning more to not getting. Really sucks. Kinda like it to go with prototype Fett.

Also its shipping July or August. I have 6 flex pays and my kids birthday next month. August is open for me though.

They said they can't offer flex payments for it since it's shipping so soon... That doesn't make any sense to me, I've flexed things that were in stock. Why does the ship date even matter?

I know right? If 3 month flex was available , I would pull the trigger. A first for me, never seen this on a figure. You going to pull the trigger? I am so tempted.

I would have it ordered by now If I could even flex it for 2 months, I even considered dropping $150 in RP's on this. But after some thought and foresight, this isn't a priority figure for me, so I decided to pass. It is a cool exclusive, but not something I'll regret passing on. I'm hoping they sell super slow and they change their minds on offering flex for it, but that's a looong shot.

2 flex would even be good like you said. That damn exclusive label makes you want to pull the trigger. If this came out 2 years ago would probably have sold out already. But market is really down now. Thanks for replying. I want other things also like premium format Vader and Catwoman.

It sucks that there is NO flex...With Comic Con next month (travel, exclusives, food) and of course other flex payments...really puts me on the fence. I kind of want it, but damn.

Yep, was hoping for flex. Ordered it anyway. Just thinking 3-4 years down the road, it will be very cool to own a HT unique Stormie. Don't think it will be ever re-issued.
