In normal times I would expect it to be a few months after Sideshow starts getting theirs.

But on top of shipping delays, Sideshow has been sending products out to their authorized retailers later and later. BBTS seems to be one of the last.

And I doubt this is shipping out in April. We have not seen the final product photos yet.

At first I thought your August estimate might be a bit too far out, but it might be closer to August then April.

If the final product photos are shown next month, the earliest Sideshow would ship out would be May/June, so BBTS might be July/August.

Who knows anymore.

BBTS is reliable though. Have been ordering from them for many years. You will definitely get your figure. Just might take a bit.

Thanks! All very good points. I haven’t even gotten my boba 40th anniversary or heavy mando from SS yet which leads me to believe I got quite a bit of waiting to do before seeing Rex come in.

Doubt it. Hot Toys rarely does releases for stuff like that. Hell, they barely do announcements to celebrate stuff. I think Rex will be finished in April, shipped from Sideshow in June and Hot Toys will announced a Bad Bad character on May 4th.

I'd say a minimum of a Bad Batch line announcement, a released figure (Rex or Scout Trooper), and a teased figure.

In a perfect world Bespin Luke and Han. Realistically it'll more likely be Mando Luke, possibly with R2 in a 2-pack, if anything.

Still have this really weird feeling that a Grievous announcement might come on that day. Wishful thinking I know, I just can't shake the feeling. Talk about setting yourself up for a big disappointment.

I don't remember all that. I thought they just announced the Clone Wars license had been acquired and there would be 40th ESB stuff coming. Don't remember them teasing other stuff, but you probably remember better than I do.

Either way, May 4th is probably the one exception. I can't remember how many times I've seen people on the boards here predict Hot Toys would do something for the anniversary of whatever movie and it doesn't come that date, but way later.

Don't get me wrong, I have my own hopes that Hot Toys has a bunch of stuff coming soon. I just know Hot Toys will end up disappointing.

I'm not as certain that they will do bad batch figures. They didn't touch Clone Wars until years after it was successful. Maybe, but it wouldn't surprise me if they ignored it for now.

I do think Mando Luke will probably drop, which isn't all that exciting considering we all know that is 99% happening no matter what. I hope we get something somewhat surprising, like Kuiil or Bespin Han.

I would have to assume that Windu would be a more likely PT figure than Grievous just because he is so much less work. But who knows with HT anymore. Their snail's pace and release choices(or lack thereof) have made collecting their products kind of annoying.

You're probably right, still one can dream. Windu is definitely a top 5 most wanted figure for me so I wouldn't say no to that. Keeping my fingers crossed he survived his fall and turns up in Bad Batch having rescued a certain little green sprog from the Jedi temple. They'd have to make him then. He must be one of the easiest figures for them to make...

1) Soft goods
2) An excellent existing Samuel L. Jackson headsculpt they could re-work a little
3) Easy accessories that cover all films and Clone Wars. A lightsaber, some clone armour, and a Jango helmet with a neck stump inside.

The great thing about Mace is his appearance doesn't change much between films and shows. Just one ultimate version of the character is all we need.

Well I take back what I said about the Bad Batch line. Tarkin reissue confirmed and probably will for sure get Fennec now at some point considering the Fett show is also on the horizon. Because Filoni lol.

They'll definitely reissue Tarkin, I thought that too after watching the trailer (which looks really cool). Easy money for Hot Toys there. Can't help but feel they'll wait for the Boba show to put Fennec out. They'll want to do some releases for that but can't imagine that's a show that will generate a ton of figures.

It'll be interesting to see what Hot Toys does with the actual Bad Batch. Wrecker and Hunter are probably the characters people will want the most, but they have huge upper bodies...I'm not sure Hot Toys has something developed like that already so that would probably be new. At least there's two characters like that, so they'll probably get made. Echo looks creepy now, I'd much rather an ARC Trooper version of him someday. Crosshairs and gearhead dude will probably be the two they don't make to have their usual incomplete line.
