I'm okay with it now since we've gotten some great moments. The entertainment value is better than what would otherwise be a stale unboxing video. And there are people far worse at it.

Rex has been here several days now. But i feel so crappy, he is not yet unboxed.
I really want to see him, yet every time I think about unboxing this giant wave of lassitude overcomes me and Im just like, Not today. (Its not covid or the flu, just generic cold crud.)
Rex remains in stasis, awaiting the day.

I feel like it takes a lot of energy to fully unbox and enjoy a figure so the wait is understandable.

Congrats on getting Rex in, that was fast. Hope you get to unbox soon, rest up and feel better @Ramatuelle. At least you'll have something nice to look forward too, it's a great HT release. Really looking forward to Jesse now!

Well what do you know, an actual figure related post! its been a minute. I post about everything but!
...So it came to pass in those days that SSC had a $22.22 code on Feb. 22 and of course your girl had to buy something. So she bought HT Captain Rex, because Cody *needs* his homie and if a discount code is out there and you know about it, you HAVE to use it: this is The Way.
I promptly threw all concerns about the $3000 or so worth or preorders I have going on right now out of my head, because HT instant gratification is RARE and I was striking while the iron is hot.
Rex got here and languished in his box for a week and a half while his new landlord got over the flu or whatever the hell that was. But, he's finally out. Finally!
This is an exquisite figure, as many before me have stated, and I regret nothing. His body poses better than Cody's and he seems less fragile. He is SECURELY holding his helmet, because he's never putting that on again. Cover up his face sculpt?! I'm doubting it! He is just glorious.
That m-fing stand is getting the same treatment that DWM's got, if there is one figure-related thing I hate worse than "flight" stands I do not know what it is. UGH Meanwhile I fixed it so that the un-clamped end is resting against his back underneath the jetpack, giving him just a bit more stability.
I'd also love it if the chest armor shoulder straps on these guys were not sitting a half inch above their shoulders. Futzing does not work, that chest armor just rides high no matter what.
GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS and that is all. I like to have threes of things to display, things look great grouped as three of a kind. And so what about Jesse? Please do not ask as I do the mental gymnastics needed to not preorder him right now. I want Mando season 2 and at least one of my SW statues to ship before I do anything crazy. Also waiting to see who ELSE might get put up for PO. I really want ARC trooper Echo or that badass Wolffe.
Pray for me as I navigate these perilous PO waters, lol. The struggle is real.
Back to waiting for Tython Boba.
