1/6 Hot Toys - Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Obi-Wan Kenobi Collectible Figure

As cool as this would be I?d much rather them release TPM Obi-Wan to go with Qui-Gon and Maul. But for a few pieces of armour it looked pretty much the same figure as ROTS Obi.

They need to use a different material for his Jedi outfit to look right on this with the armor. Too puffy. Maybe make it a single layer instead of 2 like the episode 3 version.

Yeah, that?s the problem. Not sure if I want to commit to both, but no way I?d get one and not the other.

I'm hoping the hold up is because they are changing things.

It's just so dumb how they have a pair of figures like this that would go well together and they don't put them up for preorder at the same time. Like the orders for Anakin have been in for months now, if they had both up for sale it'd improve numbers for both.

I love this look for Obi-Wan, but the more I think about it the more I think O should wait to see what his look on his series is like. I'll only ever own one Obi-Wan figure, so I want to make it count.

Also if a new headsculpt could enter the mix, that'd be great. The ROTS one looked great in the promo photos but I just don't like the production piece at all.

They will probably pull a Stormtrooper Han and release this about four years late. Then the people who already sold off their Anakin figures will complain and beg for a reissue.

If this was a non-Disney property, you could count on them never making Obi-Wan at all, and having only shown him at cons to increase interest in Anakin.

I know because I'm one of the suckers who bought Neo, thinking there would eventually be an Agent Smith to pair him with. But since this is Star Wars, they'll definitely make the figure... eventually.

If this was a non-Disney property, you could count on them never making Obi-Wan at all, and having only shown him at cons to increase interest in Anakin.
