Asia for that matter is interested in Star Wars or Stormtroopers, hence why they have become smaller releases as hot toys realises

Indeed, which many OT and PT fans are very aware of. If it gets to Justin's Collection before any HK vids, then that really drives that point home.

Edit: I forgot the key point too in that Sideshow might not have got it or put up a Youtube video of it yet.

Not sarcastic at all, the US and European market far outweigh the Chinese/Asian market when it comes to Star Wars. Therefore, I think a majority of the batch was sent over to Sideshow.

There are suddenly several of this Stormtrooper commander already available with secondary sellers at about US $200, so I assume they have them in hand or have pick-up notification already.

no in this case I mean people in HK who pre-order at Secret Base and then sell the product on after they have it in hand. Some have physical stores, some do their business on local exchange sites.

This guy was very quietly pushed out the door by HT. Can't find any final production pics or official release announcements.

The vendor I bought from said this, released 1st batch completely sold out, 2nd release should be coming but it is now marketed as a limited edition…..

Lighting is a little harsh and focus is soft on some of these, but the weathering effect from the prototype seems far less prominent. Not seeing any green in the eyes either but that could just be lighting.

I think the weathering is just disappearing due to high contrast. No way to tell in those shots.

I'm hoping that's the case. I was a big fan of the weathering on the prototype; when they're completely clean it's sometimes difficult to even tell them apart from 6" Hasbro Black Series figures at first glance.

I've got a feeling this one will follow the same path that the Remnant Storm Trooper has taken. If you want one (or two) get them quick or pay aftermarket prices once they sell out quickly.
