Initial thoughts on the one little pic we have.

Sculpts are ok. Not great but ok. Don't think either is that spot on yet. Hate that they're using rooted hair for Baby Doll as it usually tends to look not so great much like it did with Black Widow. Both outfits look really really good thats for sure. HT has some work to do with both of these.

I think they would both look better if their faces were shorter/rounder. They look too long.

And I said, from the one photo the head sculpts aren't impressing me. I'm sure when the official photos come out they will look better.

I was kidding of course. The figures look cool, but I'm not blown away. I'd say I'm just "whelmed" by them.

- A few months with: "Any news yet?"
- Teaser "leaked", some excited, some start nitpicking
- First crappy pics released, some excited, some start to panic!
- Official pics and specs released, some really excited, photoshopping starts.
- A few months with: "Any news yet?"
- First crappy in hand pics and everybody panics!
- Better pics surface, some excited, others not so much.
- People start getting their figures almost everybody agrees, HT has done it again!

Nice post. You just forgot to list in there where Hot Toys hears the panic, goes back and reworks the likenesses. Complaining does get old but unfortunately without it Hot Toys would not of went back and fixed some of the past sculpts that were way off.

I don't like what I see so far either, but as it always happens with every piece, I think we'd better wait for more/better pics to show up before criticizing them.

I thought if HT made BD with rooted hair it would of been an easy pass for me, I hated the figures they had done before with rooted hair but HT have done a great job here. BD definitely needs some tweaking to her face but HT always seem to get it right in the end. I'm really hoping to get these two, it just depends when there released. It'll be cool to finally add some girls to the collection.

Yay for new pics. I have to say that Amber looks awesome. I'm definitely thinking of getting her. Babydoll looks amazing except for the face. It looks nothing like Emily, which is a shame.
