You know what bro. T1 didn't need a bunch of special effects to get its point across. It holds up even today because the story was so good that it didn't need a huge amount of CGI to carry it. Just my opinion.

The special effects would have been a lot better. Thats one thing that I wish could be improved. Every so often special effects go from looking mind blowing to looking just cheap and outdated. MIB is an old 90's film where the GC looks terrible now even though I loved the film when it came out and I thought that the special effects were awesome.

I've derailed this thread with 80's talk I'm sorry.:(

It's sad how some of the newer generation (thats me) won't entertain films with bad special effects just because they have bad special effects and it's not the movie's fault. It means that a lot of people will discount a great film because of technical limitations. I know I had to get over that thing of just because a films in black and white doesn't mean it crap.

I'm gonna stop posting here otherwise I'll get told off soon.

Or is that real hair + sculpted pony tail?
I mean there's a significant change in color in the hair going under the cap + it looks kinda too smooth to be sculpted?
Just an observation. What could possibly be the point of that? More pics please...
Overall looks really nice though.

I wonder if there's that hair separation because the ponytail comes out and a hair down piece plugs in.

well said my friend

Well this one gets a big pass. Is Hot Toys losing their mojo? Not my Sarah.

it would be cool if sideshow did an exclusive version with the endo arm and chip in the glass casses

I don't think the mojo is gone, look at Blade and Wolverine. The female figures are just so so, Sarah and Silk Specter. I am really on the fence about Mrs. Connor, if that is the final product with that hair, well, HT just saved me some cash.

Well, that just opens discussion for a lot. I love T1 as a movie, but visually I wish it had been made in the 90s :lol. I grew up in the 90's, I see styles from the 80's and I just wonder what drugs people were on that decade :lol That's why I'm not big on Tech Noir T-800, the outfit just looks silly to me, and I don't like the pretty boy hair either, the biker look and spiked hair look more badass.

What drugs, you ask? Why, the functional ones of course! :rotfl And in the '70s...well, wait....you weren't even a glint in the milkman's eye yet, so never mind! :D

Pft.

Tech-Noir T800 is a must. Can't fault the style of the time the movie was made. And for the record, the 90's style sucked.

I agree...While the iconic biker jacket look is the one everyone's used to seeing with the Terminator, the Tech Noir look definitely calls up the first film and the decade perfectly.

As for the '90s style....uh, Terminator would've looked pretty whacked in torn jeans, a grungy t-shirt and a flannel...:lol

Back to the Sarah figure...I hope Sideshow puts up a complete gallery prior to the pre-order...looking forward to seeing the whole figure...

Thats is cool i know someone who love stuff like that

'fraid NOT Bro, Sarah never even touched the arm or chip in T2, only little John. She might have held his bag for a moment but that would be an excellent suggestion for accessories for a Little John.

Little John:
Bag, "Easy money" Laptop, Chip, Arm...

Except, sadly, John is not likely to be made so might as well included them with Sarah.

Hasn't HT done a smaller scale body before? I thought they helped Sideshow with the "hobbit" bodies...they would be a little short for John...but HT has shown they'll develop something new when the license calls for it and they seem to be a little quicker on that front than Sideshow...

The T2 version of John Connor seems like a real necessary one to include in the line-up of potential figures....

Hot toys never finishes what they start. Just about every movie line they do is incomplete, So I doubt we will see john. Im just stoked to see them even do characters such as sarah.

They're not the only ones. Sideshow usually does 7-8 figures for a line and calls it a day.

Hot Toys is the best in the business but even they crap out an occasional turd like Big Chap.

After they hit a home run with the T-800, Sarah is disappointing.

Ok, you guys are about to get a lesson in 1/6th ____ retentiveness.
I knew I wasnt going to be 100% happy with this figure.
Her bangs: She's going to need some hair over her forehead.
She wont have rooted hair so it better be sculpted on.
............AND
I want that alternate right cigarette hand!!
C'mon HT thats probably the easiest request you'll get all year.
(Toner and more vascular arms wouldnt hurt)
