On the back of my Kyle Reese box it shows the T-800 Humanoid Machines Endoskeleton as Coming Soon but I can find no information about this on their website. Was this cancelled in lieu of the Aoshima die-cast models? I was holding out for Hot Toys because I thought theirs would cost a bit less.

Reese is fantastic. I'm working on a custom in my spare time and hope to post some pics when it's finished. I didn't get the T-800 because I did not like how Arnold's face was torn off and it wasn't movie-accurate but my friend got it and it's pretty cool. I was waiting for the Endoskeleton. I hope they do it because it's been nearly a year now.

I don't like the T-800 either... Yeh I'm tempted to pick up a Reese, he'll need a head repaint although I have an Aliens Hicks I am having repainted at some point which I can swap with the body for posing...

Love to see your picks when finished... If I do get him I'll look for Kyle 1984 trenchcoat, pants and Nikes (found Nike source) the HT Reese t-shirt works fine for him... what do you think about the HT Reese "the endo arm" ?

You guessed it pjam, I'm working on a 20th Century Kyle Reese! I got the trench coat from Connor MacCleod thanks to Dark Artist. I dyed it in rit dye last night. I still need to repaint the hair but I painted in the scar on his lip and chin. I still have to paint his laser branded arm skin. I'm gonna get a pair of Nike's from Monkey Depot and paint them. The shotgun I stole from the McFarlane 12" Terminator and I'm gonna saw off the stock and tie a corded string around it. As soon as I'm done I'll post pics but he's looking cool so far! ;)

If you want a 1/6 Endoskeleton, the Aoshima version is pretty badass... its 1/6 and about 90% diecast! Very cool figure and fits in very nicely with other figures.

Agreed. I just got one and it's one of the coolest things on my shelf.

I thought it was alright for what it was although this wasn't really shown except when it chokes Sarah in the factory. Considering all of the wonderful accesories that came with Reese, it's a nice bonus.

And speaking of which, here's a first look at my 20th Century Kyle Reese in progress. I still need to repaint the hair and find some black Nike's. He's borrowing them from MacCleod for the photos, plus I need to saw off the stock on the shotgun, add the rope, etc. Let me know what you think. Shouts out to Dark Artist who provided the trench coat. Thanks Josh!

I actually like my T 800 more than my Kyle. I didnt think I would but when I had it in hand I was far more impressed.

I don't understand why he came with the minigun from T2. That made no sense to me. I want Arnold in his spiked punk jacket from Tech Noir. That would have been sweet.

Personally I like the getup he had in the later part of the film. More iconic, but I know what you mean by the punk jacket. Would have been a nice accessory to change around too.

Nice custom Reese. But he needs black nikes with the silver swoosh. I had a pair of them as well lol.

A Terminator in `The Teminator` had an early version of a Mini Gun?

:D

I guess Hot Toys included the mini-gun to up the accesory count. Certainly not an iconic weapon for T1 but for T2. BTW does anyone have info on what they used in T1 as the base for that large gun the dream sequence Terminator is using? We've been trying to figure it out on the OSW board.

Thanks. Was the swoosh silver? Looks white on the DVD. Yeah, I need to get another pair of 1/6 Nikes so I can give these back to my Conner MacLeod.

Nikes were black with white swoosh IMO, you can see it clearly when Reese first slipped them on... check Toy Square for a pair but they go for $20, might be better to find some on MD...

The soles are white, but the strap and swoosh has a white outline but are clearly silver. I had a pair back in the day.
