Jesus, that Lee repaint was years ago!

I was watching The Crow last night and I noticed that he had dark brown hair not black! I mean really obviously not black,
and I always imagined him to be bigger/broader than he actually was. He was in great shape but quite thin framed with a largish head.

Loved the movie again though, hadn't seen it for a while. The Blu-ray isn't great though to be honest.

Re: Hot Toys The Crow petition

So I need some opinions. I want a Bruce to display with him, thoughts? Suggestions?

years ago or not it's still a great repaint.
agree totally about brandons hair colour,i stated that way back in the thread(a light dry brush of brown).and he lost 20+lbs for the crow but was still in great shape.
agree about the blu ray.i think it's just been upscaled.
thought I'd try some mood lighting

Im also on the verge of cancelling...I think people are over looking terrible features in this figure just because of the character...HTs have really ***** this up..I keep looking at pics and really some are just bad imo.

If it was a neutral sculpt like this would that have made you happy or are there other things that bother you?

The pose above would be sweet...never seen that...also it looks a bit weird without the jacket and thats the way I wanted to pose it.
Im torn by this figure.

Yeah it is sculpted by Bobby C but I actually think Hot Toys one has better likeness but this one looks more realistic. That's the biggest problem I have with the Hot Toys sculpt it just lacks realism IMO.

What don't u like about it because I am thinking of cancelling mine to? :thud:

I'll use these pics to illustrate what I don't like. I really don't have any problem with the head sculpt aside from the too perfect teeth. My biggest complaint is that the body is laughably bad. Either the body is too small or the head is ridiculously over sized. The fact that you can't pose this figure sans coat without it looking ridiculous is unforgivable. Now disregarding the head and just looking at the body, it's very disproportionate. Nothing matches. Like I said in a previous post he looks like he was put together by Dr Frankenstein cobbling together different parts from different bodies. The arms are okay but the shoulders are way too big and he's got the waist/chest of a 10 year old. It looks like they used a different torso and and a different set of arms to make up the top half. Finally the legs look short and stumpy but maybe that's because the top half is throwing everything off. No way I can pay $220 for this. I don't see this figure going up in value so maybe I'll pick it up one day if I can get it cheap enough.

a few quick pics (better) without coat and some old bruce hands..still think hairs a tad short without coat..but I'm still happy.

I see your point it does look pretty bad body wise but if you leave the coat on I don't think you will notice those problems. I guess u wanted to display him without the coat though right?

Re: Hot Toys The Crow petition

Very pleased I made my own custom after seeing this.

Arsyn's head and a TTM19 body look way better I think

even I,who likes this agree about the body..slim rounded shoulder type was needed.
and as you can see I'm still rubbish at taking pics:lol
