I got mine in the UK today Very nice especially since I've been waiting for Ben, Han and Chewie since release.

How did you manage to get one? Did you have a friend? did he just walk in to get one?

Thanks for the comparison picture. I've tried to get past the duck face, the asymmetry of the mic hole on the face, the smooth and seemingly "fat" legs, the wide open eyes, the floating nose armor piece, the gun holster sticking 6 inches out from the thigh - I really have - but just cannot. Probably just too old of a dog for these new armors.

I agree 100% I just can't get into these trooper designs. Wonder if it's just us old farts!! I was 5 when the original Star Wars came out. My whole childhood was my love for Star Wars. Although I must say I did enjoy the designs of the prequel clone troopers, especially the phase 2 armor. Maybe I'll be swayed once the movie is out and I see em on the big screen in action. These do look great though, but as expected from Hot Toys.

I don't like the "tube top" chest armor piece.

But it looks like a great figure.... even though it does point out just how amazing that old 1970's Stormtrooper design really is. Stands the test of time again.

Awesome figure has a decent weight & awesome shelf presence-instantly one of my favourite hot toys.
Also looks perfect straight out the box without havin to futz or customise.
Highly recommended

Yeah if you have a friend there you should be able to pick one up no problem. That or wait until stores here get them but almost guaranteed Ul pay more if it's not direct from Hong Kong.
Beats waiting too and the inevitable eBay option with massive price hikes.
I think this could be one of those hot toys that increases in value over a short period of time

I hope these guys come out of the gate establishing themselves. Troopers that can actually shoot and cause havoc all over the place. I think people's opinions will be much more favorable to these designs if there is an attitude to the squads as they impose their will a bit. There are some really great designs for these troopers. ( I think the tie pilot is a knock out and the snowtrooper is fantastic)
