Saw this at a LCS today finally, I'm eager to get mine now. The floating base for Grogu is too intrusive. I've already got my Stoney stand to replace it.
What is up with the right thigh plate? Seems like he has 4 different versions of that plate lol.
A lot of buyers have been immediately swapping the included season one right thigh plate for custom season two plates. I'm sticking with the included season one plate though because I actually prefer the added color and contrast it bringsWhat is up with the right thigh plate? lol, those are the last ones I promise. Fingers crossed it's soon!Spanbauer, just stop it with these cool photos!
Torturing me who cannot see far enough into the future to know when Timewalker will get their share in.
What do you mean what's up with it? That's how it looks in the show.
I just binged both seasons and didn't notice that look. Guess it was S1 since I just remember the initial brown and then black. Maybe Beskar at then end of S2?
It's his original thigh blade with what looks to be some beskar scraps poured over it. It's what he has in Season 1 until he gets the new one at the start of Season 2.
I found that the figure became less stiff the more I posed him, no muscle suit removal required. Seems to be able to achieve every pose I had hoped with some working. This figure rocks. Fat suit makes it a bit too... Well.... Chubby. Articulation not very good. But all the gadgets makes for an interesting bunch of museum poses.
I still haven't received any arrival email, must have been a total of 5 figures in this new batch.
Maybe I'll get mine in time for the Boba series.
That’s kind of what I suspected was the trouble - this figure is just selling gangbusters but Hot Toys’ production is still operating at the same volume so it’s just going to take 6-8 months to fill all of the orders due to so many jerks like me who made this their first Star Wars Hot Toys figure. I suspect for a lot of people too it’s their first Hot Toys figure, period.Someone said based on Sideshow's shipping logs that 11,000 Mandos (reg and deluxe) have already been shipped. Maybe this is an incredibly large edition size that HT clearly wasn't prepared for. They may not remember the last time they had 20,000 items ordered of one figure. Mando AND Grogu craze.
