Such a big fan of the cartoon Boba with the "tuning fork" rifle. So glad they made it a part of Mando's final outfit.

^^ Nice pose! I like how you have the Aquaman base to simulate an explosion.

On a related note, can't wait to watch Mando S2 this weekend! :panic:

Thanks Zurdo! I love the custom bases vs the basic rectangular flat bases. Do you guys happen to know where there are custom rock bases or just something different? It's amazing what a base can do for a figure.

Very much agreed! Though I do not mind the regular stands, I'd like if reasonably more releases included diorama bases; I get more enjoyment from diorama bases, since it gives the figures their own environment and adds to the immersion they give, in my opinion. I wish I knew where to get custom bases haha I just look out for parted out bases periodically, and was able to nab some for reasonable prices. Sometimes I even consider buying a full figure just for the stand, but then I rethink it haha

So, I finally watched The Mandalorian Season 2!!!!!!

My overview:

It carries over in good impetus from season one, and again, it's an entertaining, highly enjoyable show. Having watched the Star Wars OT beforehand, I can now connect the dots better and go "Oh shoot that's from the OT!!" The action and overall story, are stupendously executed. The fight scenes never let down and grow more tense. The recurring characters are niceIy integrated in Mando's journeys and are great to see as well. One aspect I appreciate is that some previous foes turn to allies and get redemption. I quite liked seeing how Grogu and Din's dynamic came to a (seeming) conclusion in the finale. My favorite episode from S2 would have to be the first, just seeing how Mando helped the town and sand people work together was nice, plus the giant crait dragon was so cool! For my preference, I would pick S1 as my favorite season, probably because it was so new to me and the first anything SW series I've watched.

More thoughts:

- Bo-Katan - wow!
- Awesome to learn more of the different factions of Mandalorians
- That moment when Din was putting the eggs back in the Tank and Grogu knew he mustn't eat them and then he eats a snow spider egg, I'm not sure why but that seemed like a tender moment to me.
- Nice to see Boba Fett in action, since in the OT he was mostly just standing there looking cool and then eaten by a Sarlacc
- I'd like to know/see how BF escaped the Sarlacc Pitt!!!
- I liked that female power team in the finale.
- Hmm, I think Din removing his helmet in the final episode would have more of an impact if that was the only time we the audience see his face.
- I thought Mr. Pascal's performance was great, though, I first saw the actor as the villain Maxwell in WW 1984, so it felt a bit jarring to see him as TM, I was expecting him to ask "What do you wish for?" lol
- That scene with Luke is glorious and a nice inclusion having recently watched the OT.
- I presume S3 will continue with Din and Bo-Katan going to Mandalore (?)

What a fun ride it was!!! :)

Looking great!
Maybe you could use one of those sidewall holes and install a thicker wire, come from behind Mando to make the pram float without the clear post? I'm trying to figure out how to do it in Detolf.

I was thinking about that! I feel like the pram is probably a bit too heavy for the depth of the holes, and I don't wanna drill through the board. I might grab one of those clear stands on eBay though. What I really wanna do is find a better string or something to use for the necklace Grogu has. The one it came with kinda sucks, always gets tangled or doesn't look natural lol.

Like one of those articulated posts? Good idea actually. Then its not limited to staying near the side of the cabinet.

Yeah that string always gets janky no matter how many times I've straightened it. I found some thicker black upholstery thead that just might be the perfect scale.
