Had some interesting light in the studio today...

This is a great figure. It's not just a placeholder for me. Looking forward to the new one too. It's great seeing folks post shots in here...some great display ideas!

Just got this headsculpt today and it nice (Had to do some touch up on the hair but I really like the look of the sculpt)
FYI I suck at photoshop and lazy so I just pull a background from my monitor to take photos

It's crazy how the value of this set plummeted. I can't get rid of it no matter what. I've tried parting it out, and still no luck.

Yeah seems to be going for around $250-270 on ebay right now. By the time the S2 version comes out you'll probably be lucky to sell it for $200.

The other option is to wait and sell like a Mk1 Iron Man.

The biggest selling point for this set is the hover pram. Once S2 Mando is released, I can see people trying to track down the pram and it getting a bump in price.

I don’t care about rising/falling value. I love both my OG and DLX Mandos! I am set and happy until another drastically different mando comes along.

I think it's also worth holding on to the Season 1 Beskar in case the chrome plate on the Season 2 version does not turn out well, or does not hold up over time.

The S1 figure would also be perfect to carry the bags and cargo from the S2 Deluxe (the Grogu satchel can hide the thigh plate a bit) or to put on the swoop bike.

Plus the pram, camtono, and beskar ingots alone are worth keeping if you have the S1 Deluxe.

With all the iconic scenes in the show and all the accessories between the figures, I think there's justification to keep each version if you have space. You ultimately end up with more accessories than figures to put them on.
