I hope Mando keeps the helmet on for the majority of the remainder of the show even if he does accept removing it. I think it?s been ballsy to have barely shown the actor?s face. Marvel or anything else with characters that wear masks or helmets always likes to find excuses to show the actor or actress?s faces.

As far as the figure- personally I?m still waiting to see what we get from season two. Even though with this version seemingly set to drop soon it?s tempting.

I agree. Strange that they didn?t use this same trope when casting Keri Russel as Zorii Bliss in ROS. If you have as beautiful a face as hers under the helmet why not show her face? Very strange decision in deed.

Raylan went without Boba?s helmet for all but 2 scenes in the entire Krayt episode.

I prefer characters take their buckets off when it makes sense. Personally, I think never removing your helmet in front of anyone is super impractical. I don?t need to see Pascal?s face every episode, but it would be nice to see some actual face time between Mando and the Child. (Which I?m sure we?ll get at some point)

I think one reason he didnt have that on is because..... that's Fett's helmet. He has actually claimed it as his face. When you see that helmet only one person comes to mind. So when we see Fett meaning business in this series - and we will - THAT is the main face he will show. I think maybe they didnt want to muddy the waters.

Agreed that babies actually need to see faces in order to learn social cues, and B.Y. needs to see Mando's face at least some of the time. He can have it on 98% of the time, I'm fine with that. But we got a baby here.

Well, keep in mind that after being rescued as a toddler Mando was evidently raised in an order that never removed their helmets, so he probably figures "if it was good enough for me....". Also at this point he's not planning on raising BY but rather returning him to his own kind, so I would think we'll need to see those plans go awry before he thinks about "face time" with the little womp rat.

I'm surprised people are still going on about this. That helmet is such an iconic part of the show, along with the mystery it helps create around the character, so there's no way Favreau is going to ditch that at some point and have him casually taking the thing off all the time.

Maybe it'll get knocked off his head or forcefully removed in some future episode, but that's as far as they'll ever take it.

Agreed. This is Mando's story. He might end up assisting Bo-Katan and crew to some extent in their effort to retake Mandalore, but he's not going to adopt their beliefs or become subservient in any way. He'll still follow his own path.

Agree in the sense it will never be completely gone, tho I could see a clash where - however it happens, u throw away everything to save the Child. Honor, identity, all of it. Since Bo-Katan has high status, or maybe it's a group of Mandos, or maybe it's some interesting conversation with someone like Boba, and the armor is handed back to him.

Classic stuff even Ironman kinda went there with Spiderman "if u need it to be special you don't deserve it".

Even if he does take it off again, I'm sure it'll be the same sort of situation as before, where he's bloodied or dirtied up and we never get a great look at his face. Pedro's not going to be walking around looking all perfect and handsome without his helmet.

Had a $25 coupon, so I finally ordered it. Hopefully I’ll be content with both of Mandos s1 looks and that’s it:pray:

I took what happened in episode 11 as heavy foreshadowing. They were very specific about it. There will be a reckoning of some kind about that helmet, probably a forcible one.

Plus we have a very charismatic actor under that helmet. They wont want to waste him, and I've heard rumors that Pascal himself wants it off more. So we will see.

Mando was at least 12-13 years old by my guesstimate when he donned the helmet. But B.Y. is still actually a baby. He does need to see a face, at least occasionally.... unless Mando's going to hire some non-Mando help. Which, lets face it, he really REALLY needs to do. Poor Razor Crest, trailing parts as it jumps to hyperspace.

He'll have to take the helmet off when Space Child Services gets involved.

Agreed, I could see him fighting Moff Gideon and Mando takes a hit across the helmet from the darksaber that damages it enough that he has to take it off to keep fighting to protect the child.

I'm late to the Mandalorian party, only seen the first four episodes so far. So I'm wondering is the hover pram ever seen with Mando in his Beskar armour?

If not why did they include it with this and not the first version of Mando?

Not the version they included, no. I'm not sure why they included this version.

And because Hot Toys.

Hot Toys didn't know anything about Baby Yoda as it was kept secret from all Toy suppliers etc. This is why there is a huge amount of Baby Yoda merchandise coming out now. As toy companies have had a year to develop and get them into production.

The Mando with Beskar was released later, so Hot Toys added Baby Yoda and pram to that version.

Many who are getting both will simply put the pram with the original version. Or you can buy 3D printed versions etc.

Hot Toys put up for preorder both Mando and IG-11 before the first episode aired I believe. So yeah they didn't know about Baby Yoda. Same for some of the other accessories, they go with this version.
