So pretty. So is this the V1 figure with the V2 chrome head or a fully modded V2?
I want to clean my chrome figure when it arrives and then slightly dull the reflectiveness but not sure what method would be best. Will of course be washing the grey out of his flight suit. Come on HT, this colourblindness is not befitting of your status.

I remain unconvinced that HT isn't doing the right thing, and using kind of a taupe color (mix of grey/brown).
As the light shifts around, my figs can look brown. Or grey. Depending.

Just received my custom S2 Beskar armor, I always preferred the S1's drape cape and brown jumpsuit, no need to upgrade now.

From what Willfoxification said on his livestream, he bought himself a $250 Sideshow Gift Card (to buy a figure in the future) and that was eligible for the free Dark Trooper.

I was going to do the same - buy the $250 gift card and send it to myself (probably use it for the Garfield Spider-Man Deluxe later) but Sideshow must of closed that loophole by then.

yeah, they closed the gift card trick really early. I think that not going by sale prices is going to limit how useful this promo is going to be in getting rid of their existing stock. I have a feeling the the darktooper moved a lot more than the boba fett.

Why?

Mando season 3 wasn’t great but the first two were very good to excellent. They did some things wrong but I think I’m glad to have what I have from the show.

The Mando Luke is the definitive version of the character for me, Bo-Katan I’ve loved since the Clone Wars show, I got Fennec because Ming-Na Wen played her which is cool, and then this set because I liked Mando. The moderation makes me feel good about this line.

Of the figures that have been offered for free so far, this is the highest quality set...if you don't already own either this figure or the chrome mando. The problem is that anyone looking at this site probably does own an HT Mando. The chrome version is better, both because of the chrome and I think the jumpsuit fits better. 
However, this would be one of my top hot toy Star Wars figures if it weren't for the chrome upgrade. One thing to keep in mind is that the next Star Wars movie is going to be based on the Mandalorian and so I suspect there's going to be a resurgence of interest in the character. 
This would be a great opportunity to get ahead of the excitement if you don't already have one.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the next free figure is. 
I am hoping that it will be IG 11 or the Tusken Raider. Though, I have a suspicion it might be the manalorian scout trooper because it is kinda redundant with the ROTJ version out (and also on sale).
