What do people use to prevent the dye pote coming onto the headsculpt particularly with the Tusken robes on this guy?

I noticed that the dents are in different places on each one. One is on the u shape, the other on the horizontal top. Don't see what that has to do w the bird attachments though.

I just looked through S02E06 again, and screen shot the whistling birds:

The wear patten and dent placement look more like the one that's already on the figure, which has the apertures in the pegs, rather than the one with the openings blocked up.

That's exactly what I was thinking !! Those bases take an 11/10 figure to a 12 !!

Might have to break out my hobby stuff !!

Clip the corner off a sandwich baggie, small enough to fit under the hood yet protect the head from the cloth touching it. Dye bleed is deadly.

Magnificent set. One of their best sculpts, very impressive. The weathering on Boba's armour turned out real nice.
Only gripe is the dynamic stand. I bloody hate those.

Incredible! I hope that they retain the rough texture for the repaint version. It gives it a ton more character than if it were just the smooth armor repainted. I would think they would just re-use these molds and adjust the paint so hopeful that is the case.

The Tusken Boba really is different class. The arms on the armour Fett seem a bit awkward so far, but I am useless at playing around with these. I tried to recreate the tribal dance at the

end of episode 2 BoBF.

That kneepad thing is so weird. I have to agree that it looks like they tooled up a totally new offscreen piece with a different dent and wear deco just in case you wanted to put one on the other knee. And based on the screenshot from the show above, unless he dropped his leg down an instant earlier, the rockets didn't even fire out of the tubes, even the extra they (presumably) CGed in for just that scene...?

Either way, what a fantastic-looking figure. I assume it'll be months before Sideshow ships, but I can't wait.

Maybe those upper pins are a bit slimmer and shorter?

A sidenote but I’m happy to see the Sideshow gang have really upped their lighting game for these unboxing videos recently. The earlier ones were very harsh, unflattering and garish.

Looks like it. I just checked the HT ROTJ Boba, and the one with the dent at the top matches his left kneepad. I guess you can leave it in the Sarlacc for show-accuracy.

In Boba's triumphant return in S02E06, he only wears the armour on the right leg.

I went through frame by frame, because his robes cover the left knee most of the time. There are two brief shots where you can see that the left is missing:

By the next episode he's had time to put the other one on:

He had the one with the lower dent that fired the whistling birds, but it was missing parts.
