The "batches" thing seems relatively recent - it didn't use to be that way. My guess is that it's a result of the pandemic putting strain on both shipping and factory capacity. HK probably can't produce as many units as quickly as they'd like, but they ship what they have available. Sideshow wants anything they have ready just to be able to ship some units and make whatever money they can.I always wondered why SS get's there shipments from HT in batches ? Is that how HT does business or is that how SS has requested to receive their orders and why they just don't get everything at once or at least half and then the second part 2 to 3 weeks later. I see the attraction of ordering stuff through HK dealers and not have to wait weeks or months after it's released .
Thanks! I am aware of the pros and cons with SS or a USA retailer vs going through HK . I bought REX, The Shore Squad Leader and Two Shore Grunts through TBA and spent less than what I would have through SS . I am keeping my Boba order through SS though because it's over $500 so don't want to take any chances and shipping costs are high . Just wish there would be some consistency between both companies. The "batches" thing seems relatively recent - it didn't use to be that way. There's always been a wait post-HK release because of the sheer time is takes to ship the inventory overseas by boat. In rare instances, SS will air freight units to speed it up, but that's not cost-feasible on a regular basis. The wait seems to have lengthened as cargo shipping has continued to buckle from the strain. It may get better with time, but we've been saying that for a year.
You can order from HK sellers if you want, but you'll pay for expedited shipping and what not. And you're more than likely sacrificing any customer service if you have an issue with a figure, so keep that in mind.
Me too, but I think that's unlikely until factory capacity and/or global shipping times improve. Thanks! I am aware of the pros and cons with SS or a USA retailer vs going through HK . Mando and Grogu has been in stock with SS for a few months now, no idea on Cap. I know Rex took months before all orders were completed. Is Mando and Grogu deluxe still be delivered? Cap Endgame? Seems like some figures go on for more than 6 months of delivery in these "batches".
If this follows the BoBF, all three of these guys will miss, then look into the barrel of their gun to see what happened and shoot themselves in the eye...
Reminds me of the Spiderman meme wear they are all pointing at each other.
No , February is when SS hopes to get them in to fulfill there customer orders , April might be accurate for the US sellers.some sites show the set will be out in April, but Sideshow shows February
Is this figure currently shipping from US sellers?
Exactly what i was going for but none of them got pointing finger hand so i thought it be more suiting for Boba's to point a blaster at each othersReminds me of the Spiderman meme wear they are all pointing at each other.
Great display!Took a lil time setting this up
