interested in seeing them. But would only buy figures based on the original robot designs.

:horror:horror:horror

Not interested in Movie Transformers though...

FAKE.

It has GOLGO 13 at the bottom, it has 2008 at the bottom, it is not a picture of an actual prototype, as with most HT teasers and, can someone explain how a 1/6 Transformer would work?

1/6th Transformer would be 4-5 feet tall wouldn't it?

What could Hot Toys really bring to the table for Transformers other than a better paint job?

While I believe it's a fake, I'm surprised that folks are being so short sighted in terms of what Hot Toys could do. Based on their work with the Mark I, II and III, as well as Robocop and Terminator, I have no doubt they could produce an extremely cool transforming 12" Transformer. Would it be 'sixth scale'? No, but I'm not sure why it would need to be. And they certainly have the engineering prowess to pull it off.

imo...i don't want any transformation.

simply because the designs are SOOOOO intricate and detailed...if you throw transformation into the mix, i don't think they'll end up looking like the movie counterparts. which is why i never picked up any of the toys from the movie line. they don't look that great.

i know, non transforming TF toys...blasphemy. personally, i just want an as close to the movie as possible look of the autobots. especially prime. i love his design and i just want a toy that looks like the movie ver that can pose.

exactly man. imagine having bumblebee, prime, megs...12inches of shiny metallic goodness. pose the **** outta these *******s.

i know they'll be like the centerpiece of any collection.

Even though the image is fake, I'd love a 12" movie Prime by Hot Toys.

As far as Transforming, I just don't see any way to make an accurrate robot mode with the transforming function too, the CGI was so complex, you can't make any figure go from vehicle to robot like that.
