It's best not to take a chance on Hot Toys; some figures are way more limited than others. If you want something, just get it, and if you can find it cheaper than the MSRP, then that's great, too!

Yup. I waited too long to get the new DX Batman thinking there were gonna be plenty of them but he seems to be sold out everywhere at retail price and now if I wanna get him I'm gonna have to pay more.
That being said, my guess is Ada will linger on shelves for a bit but once she's sold out, her price will go up a little. I don't think she's gonna sell for insane prices like Leon or most of the RE5 figures are though.

Getting Leon for $130 on Corner Store Comics seems like a pretty good deal now.

Sadly, those days are over. Now we're in the era of $300 Iron Man variants. Not sure if I'm too happy about that.

Yeah, I'm starting to get priced out and direct my collecting focus elsewhere. Along with lessening what licenses I collect. Now I only focus on the lines that mean a lot more to me than most.

Same. Actually I haven't bought a new 1/6 figure in over a year. I had plans on getting a quite a few but I always end up deciding against it. Ada and DX V2 Joker are my only must have 1/6 figures atm. Everything else, I usually end up talking myself out of getting.

Yeah, I got Bane and the new DX Joker recently. The only other figure besides Ada I have on the horizon is the battle damaged T-800. I had planned to get all of the Avengers line, but I just couldn't do it. I passed on Nick Fury and Hawkeye due to my financial situation at the time. Then they sold out and started going for higher prices. At that point I resigned to not completing the line. I'll just wait for Avengers 2
....course by then a basic HT figure will be going $300 +
....so probably never

I really don't get those people. I'm contempt with one iron man not battle damage and not milky or whatever. I see why people collect them but why not just be happy with the main iron man from 1 thru 3 and avengers. Ill be stunned if we see anything from ht this yr other than iron man.

Well ive said since the start that i dont think HCG can do human characters. Unfortunately i proved myself right when i got Jill. I mean, you stand her next to Nemesis and Nemesis has glossy real-looking skin and Jill doesnt. It should be the other way around. But i dont like to be one of thoes guys who never buys but always critisises without first hand knowledge. But i wont be getting any more humans from HCG only BOW's. If they are up to par with Nemesis i will be happy (u really shud get 1)
