I think a big part of the Release of an Re 4 figure this late is because this figure is pretty much identical to her Retribution movie look thats been released fairly recently. Its got the game fans, and anybody who wants a figure to represent that movie.

In my opinion this Ada release was with the intent of starting up the Resident Evil 6 line, which they've probably dropped at this point. I think Ada was going to come out years ago but they never got around to really making her, so now they decided to make her for a quick buck. It makes sense too. They release her now before the Resident Evil 6 figures so that she goes with the 4 figures and then they will turn around and reuse a slightly modified headsculpt (or probably the exact same one) and reuse some of the accessories as well as the body and then create a new outfit for her Resident Evil 6 look. They were lazy like that when they did Battlesuit Jill so I wouldn't be surprised if this was their intent originally. It's basically double dipping on the same figure.

But at this point they probably won't roll with the Resident Evil 6 license unfortunately so this might end up being the only Ada we get.
