1/6 Hot Toys Wonder Woman Training Armor

Well, she's on her way back to BBTS - they are sending a replacement. Fingers crossed it's a good one. Despite the peeling issue, it's a beautiful figure -the portrait is amazing.

My HT WW Training Armor showed up recently, and I just now have some photos...Mine does not show any of the skin peeling issues others have been dealing with, which I am very happy about, because she really is fantastic... The portrait is rightfully regarded as very good, and in hand she's even better than I expected. I'm glad I picked this one up, and though I didn't plan on it, I will end up having all three versions of her... Also a big shout out to mfisher for his brilliant lasso for her - thank you!! Here are some hero shots - enjoy!

They did but the mould came out with subtle differnces during production, then you have the new paint job.

For a straight up re-use of the training sculpt check out the footage from last years SDCC.

I do find it quite striking that such subtle differences can make a sculpt look completely different and have people debating about which of the two sculpts between the JL sculpt and the BVS one has the better likeness.

Does the $97 include just the blue dress and body?

Yes it included everything, even the head sculpt.

I just picked up the Barbie for $8 but don't know what body to get. I'll eventually upgrade to that blue dress that onesixthkit has up for preorder.

I don't know what body they used, I saw it on facebook a little while ago, I would have to track that post down again.

Thank you Cocoboloboy! Yeah, Mike's lassos are fantastic - I always have to remind myself that it didn't actually come with the figure

Right on, as of right now the sculpt makes it's the best representation of WW even though it isn't in the iconic uniform.

Of which the sculpt looks fantastic on either of those figures (JL/BvS), especially with the coat. (boat/cave look)

Wonder if it will follow Knightmare Batman's path on the secondary...

You can just never tell with these things.

If you don’t have the same talent as Cocoboloboy, just get the diorama base that came with TFA Luke Skywalker figure. I have mine on that and it looks beautiful.

Now I need to get another one for TLJ Luke.

Just read Micheal Crawford's review on this, he says it's the least accurate Gal sculpt Hot Toys has ever produced. Obviously he is in the minority because from my understanding the general consensus is that this sculpt is HT's best sculpt in regards to likeness to Gal.
