Hot Toys X-Men Wolverine

Sorry to get your hopes up. It's just a custom mod I did for GDZILLA95. I posted it in my customs thread, but thought you guys in the Marvel section might like to check it out.

A little Hot Toys Wolverine modding for GDZILLA95. I was nervous about grinding this hair off because I knew it would be an expensive head to replace if I couldn't pull off the X-1/X-2 hair resculpt.

But now I was committed, and I really wanted to see it myself.

I really enjoyed sculpting the hair. It's sort of like doing a facial likeness but with much more feedom to just go with what ever comes out of the putty.

With a curl and paint.

Wow, didn't even recognize him. Even knowing it Hughe, it's hard to see him in that pic. Boy, that would almost be a complete resculpt. I'd have to get rid of the beard too. I would need to resculpt the whole skull, back of the ears, and jaw line. And then I'd have to try to match the paint job. Besides, that character would look pissed off still. It might be best just to find one of the forum sculptors and have them do you a whole new sculpt.

Didn't use the bamboo idea, but these are still scratch built claws.

the only things you could do to top this are make gloved hands with the ht metal claws, and resculpt the head to have a screaming/rage expression. other than that...wow. i applaud you.
