House Sculpt Modification (serang)

Don't want to post this in dudes thread because I don't think it's appropriate since his sculpt is already finished.

I think serang's sculpt is great.. but I also think it's a little off. The overall shape of the head/face is too elongated and the eyes are a little too close together imo. I did some simple photo manipulations to a few of serang's pics and I think the minor mods make a world of difference.

Again, his sculpt is finished and for sale so this is just for discussion, not really to ask dude to amend anything. Like to get some opinions to see if people see what I see.

I like the photo manipulation. It looks like you shortened the face, which makes the HS look more like Hugh Laurie.

The face on Serang's actually is too long, I checked a front on photo of it against a front on photo of house, and the space between his mouth and the bottom of his eyes is too long, not by much, but I feel, just enough to make him look a bit off.

The sculpt also seems a bit too thin on the cheeks, it makes him look a bit gaunt.

Again, just my opinion, but I think the modified version looks more like Hugh Laurie

If someone would lighten the paint on the eyebrows and widen/enlarge the colored part of the eye on Serangs paintup, I bet you would see even closer resemblance to the real thing.

I agree his head is a bit on the longer side. His Tom Cruise was like that as well. It need to be a bit more full in the cheeks too. Still all in all it really is a great sculpt.

What I've noticed is his right eye (on our left) seems to be slanted a little bit, or a little bit droopy, odd.

Agreed, I think everyone has a particular image of a character and it doesn't necessarily mean that image is the exact likeness.
