How do you remove a Buck head?

Also, how would you shorten a regular Buck body? I'm working on a custom of James Cagney, and since Cagney was not a very big man, I want the figure to match his proportions. The Buck's legs look way too long. Any tips would be appreciated!

Unless you plan on posing it with other figures that the height would matter, I wouldn't worry about the height. The trick for proportions is to use a stockier clothing. Say you use a suit or something, make sure its a tad baggier than normal. The baggier the clothing the less out of proportion the Buck body will be.
