I received my Stormtrooper PF and there were multiple issues with it (Broken pieces and scuffed paint and materials) I contacted Sideshow and send photos...now the returns department is supposed to contact me within a week. My questions is...am I looking at a month to finally get my Trooper? Will I have to ship this one back..wait for it to arrive, inspected, and then a new one sent back out? I am on the east coast so it can take some time. Will they send me out a new one after reviewing the photos (and deeming it in fact damaged?) and then I destroy the current one? Just a little insight from someone who has gone through this please... I did ask my sideshow rep but she did not know, it was a returns department question.

You have to wait at least a week to get answer and return it and wait another week or two . So it's gonna be a long wait for sure.

Depends. They'll contact you and send you a return shipping label to print out. Then you need to drop it off at UPS. From there, it's usually really fast, about a week (or two tops given you live at the opposite end of the lamb).

At this point I am a bit frustrated that I am going to have to wait so long to finally get this thing..I think I would enjoy taking out some frustration and dropping this thing on the second floor of the house..maybe turn him into a slinky and let him go down the steps

When we say smash, we mean taking a sledge hammer to the statue wrapped in a plastic garbage bag. :lol

Sometimes they just have you destroy it instead of sending it back. It all depends.

Been there, it was a tough thing to do.

I'm in the same boat with my stormtrooper. I haven't heard a peep from SS. Not even a confirmation email stating that they got my email.

This is the first time I've had such a badly damaged figure ... 1 out of 15 is a good record ... I realize it takes time but I'm getting annoyed as I want to display the figure.

What is the deciding factor in them telling you to smash or to return the statue?
I have a damage , bad paint and hand that does not stay in the hole. It the Pocahontas statue.

It is frustrating but hope this process does not take long. They only allow u to send 3 picture to prove the damage. I hope this is the last time I have to do a return..
